Not true. I want my money back. Looks very good apart from that. ### 4/5 — Add GPS metadata not working. *2017-12-29* With last version. ### 3/5 — An ok app. *2017-12-15* Great app but lists my phone as iPhone 7 Plus - my iPhone is an 8 Plus. ### 2/5 — Share extension not working *2017-11-18* This was quite a handy app. It still works if you open the app itself, but it was much more useful to use the share extension when viewing a photo in the photos app, but that seems to have stopped working in iOS 11 😢 ### 2/5 — No customer support *2017-07-20* Provides useful EXIF data if you can locate your image! Recently purchased the App and gave it permission to access my Photos library. The photos show up in the App but in random order. A sort function does not seem to be available. I have writtent to Iconfactory asking if there is a way to sort the photos but they have not bothered to respond! **Developer response:** Hi there! In the latest version we changed the sorting so the newest photos are at the top of the list (you can also use the Settings app to change the sorting to the most recently edited at the top.) If you want to access the Exif data from multiple albums, just use the "Show Image Information" Action Extension from the Photos app. Instructions on how to set that up are in the "iOS Extensions" screen of the in-app help. Other observations: (1) Many photos in my roll aren't even showing up in the app (2) You can’t access your albums. You can only see the Camera Roll and Favorites. **Developer response:** Hi there! If you want to access the Exif data from multiple albums, just use the "Show Image Information" Action Extension from the Photos app. Instructions on how to set that up are in the "iOS Extensions" screen of the in-app help. Hope this helps! ### 4/5 — Great app, one minor bug *2017-05-08* I was looking for an app that would allow me to easily add an image description to the EXIF. This app does exactly that. One minor bug: after saving the image description, the image appears slightly more saturated in color. I hope this is fixed in an update. ### 2/5 — Disappointing coming from The Iconfactory *2016-10-28* I'm generally a fan of software made by The Iconfactory, but this app is clunky and slow, especially while attempting to access photos stored in an optimized iCloud Photo Library. The app design is also pretty disappointing coming from a company that prides itself on beautiful, functional designs. ### 4/5 — Bugs *2016-10-20* Love this app! Use it every single day! Removing exif info is the function I've been always looking for and you said u got it. Although it's not nearly as pretty as Exify, ExifWizPro opens any Album in Photos, and neatly lets you flip through its photos to quickly compare the basic exposure data. **Developer response:** Hi! Would be a worthwhile app if it did NO WAY TO CONTACT DEVELOPER ON THEIR WEBSITE. Right now, I get much of the useful info--though not the histogram--from Metapho App. ### 2/5 — Doesn't do much *2016-07-06* It does give you info but no way to edit the histogram. I didn't see any easy way to add in a watermark, that needs to be user friendly right away ### 3/5 — Datum ändern? *2016-07-03* Hallo ich hab mir aufgrund eines Artikels von ifun.de die kostenpflichtige App heruntergeladen in der Hoffnung, dass ich die Mediadaten auf dem iPhone verändern kann (vor allem das Datum), weil mir Leute immer mal wieder tolle Bilder über Whatsapp oder ähnliche Apps schicken und dort leider alle Mediadaten gelöscht sind. Diese muss ich auf dem Mac wieder korrigieren, damit die Bilder wieder in der richtigen Chonic sind. Wie kann ich das nun mit der App machen? Was für ein Schwachsinn dafür Geld zu verlangen! ### 1/5 — Needs an actual tutorial for cryptic UI *2017-08-13* For the life of me, I can't figure out how I'm supposed to go about removing GPS/location data, which is supposed to be a major feature of the app. The developer website is zero help on the matter, it has a grand total of three items in their FAQ, it's no help whatsoever. I'm also not sure how I'd go about adding a location/copyright/watermark either, if I was interested in the other "features" of this app. Either this is a trainwreck of a UI, or they advertise functionality that doesn't exist. Edit: the functionality doesn't exist. I have NO idea why Gruber thinks so highly of this outfit. App was a waste of money. **Developer response:** Hi John! This app cannot do that and crashes or hangs. The developer said to exit Exify and download the image in Photos first and the use the app. If others can do it quickly why can't Exify. Only the image meta data will be added without altering the image itself. Yes, it is the ellipsis button (!) in the upper right corner — once you have entered the iOS image editing view. In options, choose “Exify”, enter your data and re-save. Ahhhh, — yes, I know… ;-) ### 5/5 — View EXIF data inside Photos! *2019-10-30* Once you have the app, you can use its extension inside Photos by tapping the Share button. FINALLY a way to get at all that data embedded in photos. And the way it integrates into the share sheet is top-notch. Two minor issues: - there's a problem with iCloud Photos: you may get just a black screen in the app when a photo is not available in full resolution on your device. Download it first in Photos or use the extension. - the photo gallery in the app is fine, but inconvenient when you have lots of photos. Would be good to be able to switch to the iOS photo picker. ### 4/5 — Good information up front *2020-05-03* I found this gave me quick access to basic information that the iPhone should have as part of its operating system, information about image dimensions.
