The camera's vid button is not that easy to use so a remote trigger loked great. And if you're using the full screen option it works. But for some reason, video using the app completely ignores the camera's video settings, so if you were hoping to use any of the slo-motion modes, you're out of luck. I can understand that it may be a big ask to provide control of video mode from the app - but leaving no control in the app and then overriding the camera's settings seems, well, dadt.
