## What is Exotic Index?

Exotic Index is a private collection of cars you have encountered.

Open Capture and take a photo. Each photo saves to your garage, and the camera stays ready for the next car. Tap the latest thumbnail to open your saved car. Add a name, notes, or an optional location when you have time.

Make each car a collectible

• Create one miniature image from a saved car photo
• Explore your miniature with touch tilt and switch back to the original photo
• Browse All cars, Favorites, and Albums
• Keep repeat encounters and extra photos together
• Share a card or recap after reviewing it
• Export and restore a complete private backup for free

Miniature generation is optional. It requires an internet connection, Sign in with Apple, and approval to send each photo to OpenAI. Daily limits apply. A generated miniature is an illustration; details can differ from the real car.

Stay in control

• Capture and the complete local garage work without an account or purchase
• Choose each photo sent for miniature generation
• Keep original photos available on your iPhone
• Shared cards and recaps omit exact coordinates and require your review
• Delete your collection and connected cloud data from Settings

Exotic Index Pro adds an Apple-backed private archive and recovery plus CSV export. Subscription terms and localized pricing appear before purchase. Pro does not remove miniature limits. Local records remain available on your iPhone if Pro ends.

Capture only while stationary.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2.0 — 2026-10-24

Built for iPhone Duo. Unfold it and the garage door opens: your car stays on the left and its spotted card fills the right.
On the Garage screen, the open display shows your stats: cars, spots, makes, streak and best day.
Hold it like a book and the garage door follows the fold.
Set it down like a laptop and Capture splits, with the viewfinder on top and the shutter below.
When it's closed, the controls sit in a side bar and the outer display works in landscape.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-12

Capture opens straight to the camera. Each photo saves without closing it, so you can keep collecting. Tap the latest thumbnail to open your car.

Create one collectible miniature from a saved photo, use touch tilt to explore it, and switch back to the original. Miniatures stay in your garage and private backups. Generation requires Apple connection and photo consent. Daily limits apply.

Car detail now focuses on your artwork. Naming, notes, location, and deletion are together in Edit.

### 1.0.0 — 2026-08-04
