## What is Expatly?

Expatly helps you track your days abroad with ease. Stay organized, monitor your time in different countries, and gain insights into your travel patterns. Whether you’re managing visas, tax requirements, or simply keeping a personal record, Expatly makes tracking your stays effortless and reliable.

If you travel to the Schengen Area, Expatly includes a built-in calculator that helps you plan upcoming trips and check whether they fit within your allowed stay. It works for both visa holders and travelers from visa-free countries who are still subject to stay limits, such as the 90/180 rule.

All your check-ins, travel dates, and stay data are stored locally on your device — Expatly does not collect or upload this information. If you choose to enable location services, your coordinates are used only to detect your current country in real time. This data is not stored, shared, or transmitted in any form.
