Either it’s broken, or functioning in reverse. I “drew” my preferred area in the map weeks ago. However, I only get offers outside my area now and even for hundreds of miles away. Why would anyone drive 196 miles one way to pick up and deliver a catering order that only pays $20??? And I’ve had zero offers for my area in weeks. I used the see several daily. None of them were worth accepting, but now I don’t see any offers near me at all. ### 3/5 — Drive for less *2026-07-03* Tiered Rewards: Drivers who complete 25+ orders with high ratings achieve "Emerald Status," giving them priority access to premium order offers. This no longer is true 3.5 years with them. Since the change of a new VP offers have been low. What is the point of being a 4 star emerald driver if it doesn’t pay…. ### 4/5 — Latest update hijacks the sound *2026-06-30* The latest update has taken over my media volume whenever I have the app open. I kept thinking something was wrong with my headphones/speakers, but when I closed the app the sound came back to normal volume. Open the app, sound goes down. Please help and fix. Being penalized for arriving early is super weird and annoying! If the food is ready then you should just let the driver leave the restaurant and they can wait at the dropoff location until the proper delivery time, especially in winter when traffic is bad! Also, why track driver GPS for restaurant arrival and dropoff location arrival if we still need to swipe a billion times? For example, I routinely have to take a delivery pic & swipe “complete” in the parking lot of the Ford plant because it is a huge facility that’s very secure… otherwise my delivery will be “late.” It’s just goldilocks vibes that add stress to the job. ### 2/5 — Demasiados requisitos *2026-01-06, version 3.9.1* Me sacaron de la app por no tener 2 años de licencia de conduccion después de trabajar en la app por 1 año. But if I don’t keep access for my background I won’t get offers. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ +1 star for the fact I get offers and get paid. Unless there’s optimization for location and battery, the rating stands. ### 1/5 — Trash app *2025-12-07* I would give this app zero stars, but there’s no way I could do it because the app won’t let me put This app does never have any work. I’ve been on this after two years and I will say that they don’t care about you. They never send you any jobs. They want you to keep looking at the board that never has any jobs on it and if you’re not in a huge tear level where they won’t give you work It’s literally impossible to get to their tier level because they never give you any jobs to begin with Don. I do NOT have a physical card or digital card. I input my bank information for direct deposit and haven’t seen any money. I also have not been able to find nor will the generated AI conversation provide me with a phone number to speak with an actual person. That was my last delivery and at least I didn’t drive far to not see any money. Do NOT recommend being an independent contractor for expedite. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Volumen manipulated *2026-07-16* I have thoroughly tested this issue and confirmed that it is caused by your app. After comparing it with several other apps on my iPhone, I found that the problem only occurs when Expedite for Drivers is installed and active. While listening to music or during phone calls, the system audio volume suddenly drops significantly. If I force-close your app, the problem stops. However, after a short time, the app becomes active again in the background and the volume is reduced once more, forcing me to manually increase it or close the app again. Your app does not require audio playback, voice communication, or microphone functionality for its primary purpose, so there is no apparent reason why it should interfere with the device’s audio. This behavior is unexpected, disruptive, and raises concerns because it affects the normal operation of my iPhone. I have reproduced this issue multiple times and isolated it to your app after testing other applications. Please investigate what is causing your app to modify or interfere with the system audio and release a fix as soon as possible. ### 1/5 — 1 ORDER IN 3 WEEKS FOR $20!!! *2026-06-29, version 4.2.0* I’ve been on this app for over two weeks and I’ve barely gotten ANY orders and the ONE that I got was for only $20. I paid $20 for a background check and then get one order to break even. That doesn’t cover my time spent onboarding, waiting for approval, and time and gas spent on delivering for ONE order. Why even bother bringing in more drivers if they don’t have the work to offer them? Feels like a total waste of time and money. Worst delivery app EVER! ### 1/5 — This app spam *2026-06-29, version 4.2.0* This app made me buy a hot bag,Money was cut. but he dots not send a bag ### 1/5 — Worst *2026-06-26, version 4.1.0* This is the worst delivery app. They mailed my pay card to the wrong address and blamed me for it. They told me if I want a replacement card I would have to pay for it. ### 1/5 — Review *2026-06-17, version 4.1.0* This company sends more orders to drivers who do not deserve them; how is it possible 1 driver gets 30 orders a week; how is it possible when drivers start they make 1800 a week; then months later down to 300? Something is wrong here, EZ Cater needs to know of this behavior with other behaviors that are unethical soon. ### 1/5 — Shady App *2026-06-01, version 4.1.0* They steal tips, permanently nerf your account if you have a legitimate medical emergency and have to bail on an order within 4 hours of pickup time. Speaking of time, they expect you to work miracles or have the ability to teleport with their ridiculous route time expectations. The emerald system is a joke. ### 1/5 — Inconsistent Notifications! *2026-05-29, version 4.1.0* Notification sounds are inconsistent despite toggling preferences. Random self promotion ads constantly clutter the user interface. ### 1/5 — Used to be good, now SUPPORT IS TERRIBLE! *2026-05-20* Before, when it was known as DLIVRD, being able to contact support via BOTH text and phone call was easy. However, I called over 30 times trying to get in touch with support on the phone for a $624 order that was said to have a food count of only 5 and required 2 CARTS to carry this food and deliver it to medical staff at UCSD to the second floor. It was a very heavy order for only $50 with even men remarking how huge this order was. Mind you, this order was NOT even labeled as "cart" necessary, and I'm a lean 5 ft 2.5 in athletic slender built yet strong woman. It was 83 degrees today to boot. The restaurant, El Pollo Loco, was late and kept adding increasingly more food to the order after it appeared to have been finished. After carefully loading everything into my car just before leaving, I asked the woman overseeing the order if this is everything, and she said "yes." So upon getting to the delivery location on an expansive medical campus and set up this humongous order, the staff it was delivered to remarked that the forks and spoons were missing from the utensils bag. I apologized profusely for it and told them I'd checked with the worker overseeing the order and she claimed it was everything. Unlike Foodja, with Expedite, you can't even see the itemized list of the food on the app. Thankfully, the customer I delivered and his coworker helped me. However, after the order, I went to report what the customer experienced on their behalf regarding the utensils and couldn't get a hold of anyone suddenly on the phone. They don't even put you on hold and give you until 20 seconds before it says to request a text and that otherwise, they will disconnect the call. It was aggravating as I called so many times in a row to try to speak with a human being about this to no avail. Then, when I went to do the text, they severely limited it and wouldn't even allow for an actual human response, and once you send what little feedback you could, it automatically ends the "conversation." That to me is unacceptable Expedite needs to INVEST in their drivers as well as its customers by making themselves accessible to fix these kinds of problems. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2026-04-08, version 4.0.3* Tried signing up and the company they use for background checks is lame the page won’t load contacted support with no solution, tried what they suggested and still doesn’t work. Paid the 30$ fee for background check and apparently no refund and no response for a refund. Save your money and go elsewhere to make deliveries! I do all the others and yet this one is a scam it seems. ### 1/5 — Bugged and Broken *2026-03-17, version 4.0.2* Orders are now being sent when you aren’t available. App never refreshes anymore. Horrible build. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Expedite Excellent *2026-07-29* By far the best app in the business. For the negative comments you hear on this. Those people are probably causing the problem because this is the best company I have ever worked with. They pay well. I’ve been with them for over a year and a half, and their app is awesome. I hate to give away the secret because I don’t want nobody to have my jobs, but I can’t help but share what great this company is. ### 5/5 — Headphone sound volume *2026-07-06* The latest update interfere with my headphones volume. If I shut down the app the music volume increases significantly, but if the app is running my headphones volume is a lot lower. I did try everything. Restarting the phone. I tried different headphones. Since I keep the app running 24/7, but I also use headphones all the time this is a big issue for me. I think it has to do with the Apple CarPlay update. Even the sound from my car is a lot lower when the app is running. Once you’re onboarded things have been running smoothly. I ran into a couple issues with my PayCard and my onboarding but was able to reach support immediately via text and they replied back within 5 mins helped me and got me going! I love this app way better than DoorDash because you can see your orders the day before to plan out your day.
