## What is Expense Splitter?

Somebody always pays first. Settle Up keeps score — log who paid for what, split it fairly, and see exactly who owes who, down to the cent.

Most group expense apps make everyone create an account and hope the whole trip signs up. Settle Up works the other way: one person keeps the ledger, everyone trusts the math. Every expense is split in exact integer cents — balances always sum to zero — and the settle-up plan clears the whole group in the fewest possible payments.
