## What is Expensed?

Expensed is a private expense tracker that works offline, with no account required. Record expenses and income, organise your accounts and categories, and see where your money goes.

Add transactions manually, scan a receipt, or import an image or PDF. On supported devices, Expensed can use an on-device AI model to read the receipt and prepare a transaction for you to review. Set up the model once, and receipt processing stays on your device.

Features include:

• Weekly and monthly budgets
• Spending breakdowns and period comparisons
• One-off bill splitting and groups
• Recurring transactions
• Multiple accounts and currencies
• Receipt and document attachments
• CSV import and export

Your financial records stay on your device. There are no ads, analytics, or accounts to sign up for.

Some optional features require an internet connection, including AI model setup, exchange rates, purchases, and cloud backup.

• Account balance can also be edited and it'll record the difference as income, expense or a balance adjustment
• Transfers are now supported between accounts, including transfers between different currencies and optional transfer fees
• Transactions now keep the currency they were originally recorded in, so changing an account's currency won't change older transactions
• Budgets now keep their monthly history. Spending in different currencies is converted into one monthly total, and older months stay on the chart
• Groups now support partial settlements. Choose which splits to settle instead of settling everything at once
• Splits now track which settlement is paid
• Added rules for reading Messages from Shortcuts automation
• Added Loan and Investment account types
• Bulk edit now supports tags and notes
