Expenses & Subscriptions is the iOS app to control your expenses, subscriptions and shared accounts without relying on any server. Your data lives on your iPhone and is synced only with the people you pick via iCloud Drive.

### 4.1.5 — 2026-08-26

What's New
• Categories stop hiding: they're now called categories (they used to be "expense types") and they're one tap away in Profile, no digging through menus.
• Create, rename or change a category's color and icon without leaving the expense you're writing: the button sits right next to the categories.
• Ask to be told sooner: 1, 2, 3, 5 or 7 days before the charge — or any number you like, up to 30.
• Monthly review: pick a day of the month (the 15th, the 25th, whichever suits you) and that day you get a reminder with everything still due that month.
• Change nothing and nothing changes: the reminder still arrives on the day, just like before.

What's New
• This month's electricity was €175 instead of the usual €160: set it for that month only and the rest stay as they were. It's saved for that month and year, so August's summary will always show what you really paid.
• Flag the expenses that change every month and the app will remind you to record the real amount once the charge date passes; until you do, it keeps using the usual one.
• See what it really costs you: the average of the months you've recorded, the range it moves in, and a chart of how it has evolved.
• Forecasts for the coming months stop using the usual amount and use what you've actually been paying.
• An expense's details now open with the actions in sight; the data sits below, tucked away, ready to expand when you need it.

What's New
• Change the day an expense is charged without losing the date you started paying it: only the charge day moves, and its details remind you that you changed it.
• Finish a financing by paying off what's left in one go: pick the day and the amount is worked out for you (or type your own). That payment is recorded and shows up in the month as paid. Got it wrong? Reopen it and the previous plan comes back.
• See what you really owe: the capital still to repay, alongside the total left in instalments and the interest you haven't paid yet.
• Split a big expense across several months: choose how many, check the instalments before confirming, and they become independent expenses you can edit one by one.
• Copy an expense from its details or from the calendar, with everything it had: accounts, the people you share it with, tags and dates.
• Amounts in other currencies now show their real currency, including the other person's expenses before you import them.

### 4.1.2 — 2026-07-30

What's New
• Your monthly figures add up: the calendar total, the home summary and the per-category totals now count the same, and phantom charges from subscriptions or expenses you cancelled no longer come back every year.
• Skip a month: mark that an expense isn't charged this month (holidays, a bill that never arrived) without touching any other month. The mark clears itself once the month is over.
• The calendar now shows what's due today, and warns you when something is shown but not counted, so no difference is left unexplained.
• Archive or delete from any expense, subscription or financing — from its details or by pressing and holding it — with Undo in case you change your mind.
• Archived subscriptions can be found and restored again, and you can see which ones you share and how much of it you pay.
• Payroll: the quick net-and-gross mode now takes your income tax rate (optional) and works out the deductions on its own, so the yearly summary comes out right.

What's New
• A fresh look for your lists: Expenses, Subscriptions, Financing, Calendar and Payroll are cleaner and tidier, with clear cards and filters you can remove one by one.
• Make it yours: pick the accent colour, theme, list style, language and currency from a single panel, and choose whether to hide your bank details and photo.
• Clearer syncing: see who you share with in a people list, and pull to refresh on more screens.
• Press and hold any item to see its actions, and delete with a safety net — almost everything can be undone.
• A new app icon, and a faster, smoother app when opening and switching tabs.
