It was nice and easy to use, not cumbersome and easily accessible for a small business. I’ve used it and had it on my various devices for almost a decade. However, they have become more and more like the expense platform I despise-Concur. Every single update they make makes this product harder and harder to use. They regular change the formats, where to find things, etc. I have to re-learn the app every time I submit an expense report. You are NOT IMPROVING your service. Leave it alone. Don’t keep changing interfaces. Traveling salespeople (the ones that use this) want easy, quick and seamless. That’s it. Period. Stop reinventing the wheel. Thank you. ### 1/5 — Updates Are a Huge Downgrade *2026-07-31, version 9.4.45* The updates implemented on both the Web and mobile app have taken what was a very simple and effective tool and created the most non-intuitive system I’ve ever seen. The UX team that came up with these new workflows has obviously never had to actually use their product in real life. ### 1/5 — Too Political *2026-07-27, version 9.4.43* Owner used this app to push his politics - emailed his customers users about TRUMP during the last election! Unasked for and very emotionally charged. NO THANK YOU. Keep your politics out of my Expense app. 😡 I’ll never use your app again. ### 1/5 — Awful. Used to be great. *2026-07-26, version 9.4.43* This was my go to solution for receipt archival and expense reporting and management for years. But in the past year, it’s become almost unusable. The app forces an update roughly every month. Fine. But said updates require you to sign back in to the app, with TWO onerous authentication steps that usually don’t work abroad. Here’s the use case: I’ve just had dinner, and I want to memorialize the receipt using the app. Easy, right? WRONG!!! I’m forced to update the app, and if I’m traveling abroad, I have to do that on data or over Wi-Fi… Which of itself takes forever. Then they have to send a code to my email, which is another wait. And frequently there’s a long delay. Then, because I’m not having enough fun yet, they require me to use an authenticator. Meanwhile, 20 minutes, have gone by, and all I wanna do is upload an image of my receipt Jesus, people. Get your act together. When I update my banking apps, which have vastly more sensitive and important information, I’m not required to log back in again. Just torture. Find an alternative. I know I will. ### 1/5 — App *2026-07-25, version 9.4.43* The worst interaction with technology I have had in 30 years. I simply want to record and relate expenses. Why does this app keep bothering me with irrelevant things and not do the only thing I want? ### 1/5 — Expenses disappeared *2026-07-25, version 9.4.43* The old version was working fine till they introduced the new version with AI. The AI version is very slow so you have to select manual entry. Worst thing is that after several days of entering expenses most disappeared. They were there each time I opened the app until yesterday. I can maybe understand why if all disappeared but only selective ones. Used the app chat with customer service and that was virtually useless. ### 2/5 — So clumsy *2026-07-22, version 9.4.35* Worked fine until time to add a payment card . Wouldn’t let me submit a report, but no way to resolve the issue it claimed was the problem. Said to add a card to pay for monthly subscription, but there was no way to do that. This was after spending an hour preparing a report and fumbling around trying to update my subscription. So I open just to go back to the update required. Endless cycle. But if you are wanting to go it with speed, look elsewhere. There is too much going on in the app. I just want to be able to enter my expenses in manually so that I can ensure all the information is correct. It has become glitchy with lots of issues and their IT help has been zero help with no phone numbers to talk to a human. Barely functions when signal is weak or off-line, which is just silly for an app targeted at travelers. Plus, the whole idea that you can’t just share a file to the app to have it create a receipt makes it so much harder to get any kind of alternative receipt in on mobile. On the go and want to finish your expense report, but need that file out of email? Screw you you have to save it to files and then use the awful file picker… the share button instead is somehow tied dubious messaging system that no one uses. ### 1/5 — Immediately switched back to classic *2026-08-02, version 9.4.47* Maybe the ai concierge works for others but it is really redundant and slow for me.
