### 1/5 — Would give 0 stars if possible

*2017-06-15, version 1.4*

Unable to reserve anything, would hit "enter" right when the time would hit and still get locked out. Worst method of "crowd control" at E3, super frustrating.

### 1/5 — App was a terrible idea

*2017-06-15, version 1.4*

All the app does is scroll and scroll and scroll, then say sorry it's full. What a terrible idea and really put a sour taste in my mouth. Made E3 experience negative for sure! PlayStation only one that did this crappy app sign up service!!! Boo!!

### 1/5 — Useless!!!

*2017-06-15, version 1.4*

When not being able to schedule ANYTHING for 2 days, ever during "open" times, I spoke with PS information at E3. Their response was an admission that the app can't handle the traffic. When Asked for a solution for me, his response was "we keep the seats filled, wait in line." Why have a scheduling app that doesn't fulfill its main job?

### 1/5 — Terrible user experience

*2017-06-15, version 1.4*

App crashes and reservations never go through.

### 1/5 — The Worst

*2017-06-15, version 1.4*

Terrible. Crashes every time, making it impossible to play anything at E3.

### 1/5 — If I could leave negative 5 stars, I would.

*2017-06-15, version 1.4*

Buggy as hell. Hangs up at the RSVP section, takes forever to load (which should have been accounted for), demos fill up before regular attendance gets access. Truly, just for the "elite".

### 1/5 — I'd rather just wait in line

*2017-06-15, version 1.4*

How could Sony possibly think that a couple thousand people in one space trying to get on LTE and the same app at the same time could be a good idea.

### 1/5 — Epic Fail

*2017-06-15, version 1.4*

Trash app makes it impossible to play any games at the Sony booth as getting an RSVP is harder than winning the lottery.

### 1/5 — Great app for not setting appointments at E3

*2017-06-15, version 1.4*

Garbage app. If you somehow get to the screen to set a reservation then you are greeted with full lobbies. I literally clicked a reservation for five mins straight from 8:55 to 9 am this morning. Did I get the reservation? Of course not.

### 1/5 — No demos for anyone

*2017-06-15, version 1.4*

The only way to demo at E3 was thru this app that never worked. Neither myself or anyone I was with was able to demo a single game at PlayStation so we went and spent our time at the Expo waiting in real lines and actually getting to play demos at other companies instead.

### 1/5 — Sony should be ashamed.

*2017-06-15, version 1.4*

This process single-handedly ruined my E3 experience this year. It is baffling that a team of individuals agreed upon this method of determining which of their loyal fans would have opportunities to experience upcoming content. Beyond the fact that anyone not in possession of a smart phone is immediately removed from the situation, you alienated thousands of fans who attempted to reserve their spots and were met with non-responsive service. Take a note from Nintendo next year.

### 1/5 — Absolute trash

*2017-06-15, version 1.4*

It's useless, every time you try to schedule a demo is laggy and full

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — not work

*2020-10-30, version 3.6*

its doesn't work

### 1/5 — Trash!!!

*2019-10-06, version 3.0*

Real piece of garbage!! And so is the support. If you like to let your children and yourself down then go for it. Otherwise don’t waste your time

### 1/5 — Wasted my time

*2019-03-29, version 2.8*

Horrible way to handle convention lines. Everything filled up within seconds. Planned my whole day around camping out the app. Don’t waste your time.

### 1/5 — Icon?

*2018-01-11, version 2.2*

You know an app wasn’t given proper love and focus when even the icon is wrong.

Look at the other PS apps:

PlayStation
Communities
PS Messages
Second Screen

I have them all in a folder together with Experience. One icon stands out - with a different background color and gradient.

Epic product branding fail, Sony.

### 1/5 — Zero stars if I could

*2017-12-10, version 2.2*

This is worst event app ever. Thanks to this app constantly crashing i have missed out of demos and autograph sessions. I click right at the open time said 15 slots said RSVP said your in and then crashes and now FULL. Who ever developed this app should be fired... this has killed my experience and for that I will not be attending anymore PS Events....

### 1/5 — Awful idea and even worse execution.

*2017-06-20, version 1.4*

If I could rate this lower than one star I would. For the duration of E3 this app was almost unusable. By the grace of god I got to play one game by rsvp on this app. My wife was unable to get into any game or theater and my friend was able to get into only one game like myself. It crashed more often than not. This app should never be used again.

### 1/5 — Ruined my E3

*2017-06-17, version 1.4*

I am a huge PlayStation fan and to come to my first e3 and not be able to play anything at the PlayStation booth was a big disappointment. I like the idea of the app but the experience was not well executed.

### 1/5 — Worst app ever!

*2017-06-16, version 1.4*

Sony clearly didn't learn from last year's E3 with this horrid app. It only allows 2 times (9am and 1pm) for guests to RSVP, but when you have literally thousands of people accessing the same content all at once, of course it overloads and either crashes or freezes. By the time you get it back up, every event is full for the day.

### 1/5 — Ruined E3

*2017-06-15, version 1.4*

This app was the reason I wasn't able to do ANYTHING at PlayStation. This was an extremely poorly executed idea that clearly had no planning behind it. I can only imagine the brains at PS did this intentionally to turn the consumers off to E3.

### 1/5 — If I could give it zero stars, I would.

*2017-06-15, version 1.4*

It stinks and I don't like it.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — The new and improved app

*2017-12-11, version 2.2*

This marks my third PSX and out of those three, this updated app is much better. The layout is simple with no lag or glitches. This app has made my Playstation Experience faster, convenient, and more enjoyable. Thank you.

### 5/5 — PSX Companion

*2017-12-10, version 2.2*

A bit clunky at times, but it was fun going around scanning cards and QR codes for rewards. Overall, a good companion app for PSX

### 5/5 — Nice!

*2017-11-26, version 2.0*

Hi Sony I have all of your systems and I love this app thx for making it

### 5/5 — Works Great at It PSX

*2017-10-04, version 1.6*

I never have any issues with the app at PSX’s. And the UI is quite pleasing.

### 5/5 — It's lit

*2016-12-03, version 1.0*

It's lit

### 4/5 — Great, Needs Manual Camera Focus!

*2017-12-13, version 2.2*

After PSX 2017, I have no complaints about the app except for one: You should be able to manually focus the camera like you can in the default camera app. It’d be nice if you could turn on the flashlight too to scan those darker cards.

### 4/5 — Served its purpose

*2017-12-11, version 2.2*

The app is fine! Everyone complaining probably has a really bad cell service provider. I had a lot of fun this year and the app was hassle free. I got into the events I wanted to get into and had fun collecting the cards and scanning the codes.

### 3/5 — Playstation stabbed us in the back.

*2016-12-13, version 1.0*

Quite literally nothing is offered for people who want to stay at home, last year's rewards were more giving to players since they weren't exclusive to anyone.

All gamers at PSX this year have to do so much for the rewards, Playstation never thought of disabled players who would have to do so much. People walking and waiting at booths will have a hard enough time already.

Most of these rewards will be missed, leaving most players unsatisfied, especially when some rewards require more purchases when they already bought tickets.

Thanks Playstation, for being selfish this year.

---
EDIT:

They've made changes and allowed players who missed out on PSX 2016 to earn rewards, but attendees at PSX earned exclusive rewards.

### 2/5 — 2 factor authentication glitch

*2021-04-28, version 3.9*

Cannot sign in after completing 2 step verification

### 2/5 — Great For Signups, Cannot 2-Auth

*2019-03-29, version 2.8*

Was able to get a time to demo some VR games at PAX East. Unfortunately I cannot sign in to get the promos they provided because I get a server error during 2-factor authentication.
