## What is ExpiryPal?

Milk, mascara, medicine, your passport. ExpiryPal reminds you before they run out, so you use what you paid for instead of binning it. Waste less. Save more.

14 DAYS OF PRO, FREE (30 WITH A CREATOR CODE)
Every new install gets all of Pro for 14 days, or 30 days with a code from a creator. No card, no account, nothing to cancel, and nothing is charged when it ends. After that, the free Lite version stays yours: everything you added stays, reminders keep working, and you can track up to 10 items with date scanning, open-jar dates and barcode lookup included. Got a creator code? Enter it when you first open the app, or later in Settings › Creator code.

SCAN THE DATE
Point the camera at the printed expiry date and ExpiryPal reads it on your phone. Nothing is uploaded. Switch between day-month and month-day when the pack is printed the other way, or pick the date yourself.

NO DATE? PICK THE JAR
Creams and makeup show an open-jar symbol like 6M or 12M. Tap the one on the pack, say when you opened it, and ExpiryPal works out the date.

THE NAME, WITHOUT TYPING
Scan the barcode and ExpiryPal looks up the product. When it finds one, it fills in the name, the brand and a matching category. The barcode is not the expiry date. If nothing comes back, type the name yourself.

GET REMINDED
A reminder arrives before anything runs out. Items due the same day come together, and you can snooze a reminder for a day. No surprises in the fridge, or at the airport.

ONE CALM LIST
Everything sorted by days left. What needs attention comes first and everything else stays quiet. A quick summary shows what is expired, what expires this week and what is on track. Search by name, place or category. Every status has an icon and a word, never just a colour.

FOR EVERYTHING THAT EXPIRES
Food: milk, yogurt, leftovers, the jar at the back of the pantry.
Medicine: painkillers, vitamins, the first-aid kit in the car.
Cosmetics: creams, sunscreen and makeup, counted from the day you open them.
Documents: passport, ID card, driving licence, insurance.

PRIVATE, AND WORKS OFFLINE
No account and no sign-up. No analytics, no tracking. Your items, photos and reminders stay on your phone. Dates are read and reminders are scheduled on your phone, so neither needs the internet. Only looking up a product name from its barcode needs a connection, and the barcode is sent only when you ask.

EXPIRYPAL PRO
Unlimited items, photos and places for every item (fridge, freezer, pantry, bathroom and your own), category tabs and reminders, your own reminder time, backup to a file, and 4 extra app icons. Go yearly, monthly, or pay once for lifetime.

MADE BY ONE PERSON
I'm Marko, an indie developer from Serbia. I built ExpiryPal after throwing away one too many forgotten things and finding my driving licence had expired. Every reply to expirypal.app@gmail.com comes from me. Tell me what you forget most.

Available in English, Serbian and Russian.

SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS
ExpiryPal Pro is available as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.6 — 2026-11-03

Use it or throw it away
• Swipe right to mark an item used up, or left to mark it thrown away. Undo is right there if you slip.
• Home shows this month: how much you used in time and how much you threw away. The full month is in Pro. Turn the card off in Settings › Monthly overview.
• Scan a barcode you already track and finish the old item before you save the new one.

Your items, still on your iPhone
• An automatic iCloud copy brings items and reminders back if you delete ExpiryPal or get a new iPhone. No sign-up. Photos stay on this phone. Turn it off in Settings.

Also new
• Kitchen is a place, next to fridge, freezer, pantry and bathroom.
• A clearer first open, and a clearer screen when the list is empty.
• The camera reads more printed dates, including ones with no dots.
• Small fixes.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-11-02

• Used it or tossed it? Swipe right for used up, left for thrown away. Undo if you slip.
• Your month at a glance: how much you used in time and what you threw away.
• Scanned something you already have? ExpiryPal shows your older ones so you can use them first.
• New camera for item photos and a cleaner photo menu.
• Smoother barcode scanning, and the edit screen saves as you go.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-10-31

Try all of Pro free
• Every new install now gets 14 days of Pro free, or 30 days with a creator code. No card, no account, nothing to cancel.
• Got a code from a creator? Enter it when you first open ExpiryPal, or later in Settings › Creator code.
• When the trial ends, ExpiryPal continues as the free Lite version for up to 10 items. Everything you added stays and keeps reminding you.
• A small countdown on Home and in Settings shows the last days of your trial, so it never ends by surprise.

Also new
• ExpiryPal now speaks Russian.
• A cleaner Pro screen: what you get and all three plans fit on one screen.
• A calmer Pro look across the app, with the ExpiryPal Pro name on Home while Pro is active.
• A simpler start screen, faster product images and small fixes.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-10-30

Creator codes
Got a code from a creator? Enter it in Settings, or on the Pro screen, to support them and redeem their Pro offer.

Pro
If you have ExpiryPal Pro, a Pro badge now sits next to the name on your home screen.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-24

Type expiry dates as you go, instead of picking them on a calendar. Digits fill in as DD.MM.YYYY (or MM.DD.YYYY).

A short "Enjoying ExpiryPal?" prompt may appear after you have saved a few items. Rate the app, or tap Not now.
