## What is Explore Kuranda?

Welcome to the Explore Kuranda app pilot, a community developed Kuranda Walking tours app presenting local European settlement history, public art and local nature trail stories  incorporating indigenous knowledge, wildlife attractions and our endemic critically endangered frog species, Kuranda Tree frog. 

Explore at your own pace with interactive self-guided experiences. 

Connect with local history , public art and nature through the stories of each trail with each point of interest  presented via the medium of photos, text, audio and video. 

Story nearby: 
Use the map to see the stops which are close by and when you walk in close proximity to a stop on your selected trail, a notification will prompt you to open the story.  

Available offline: 
Download the app in advance and use it when you're offline. Download guided tours and use them from anywhere, including locations with no mobile service.
