But there are times, often days at a stretch, where it simply crashes every time you open it and nothing I have tried ever fixes it. You just have to wait it out, and one day it will start working again. Frustrating! ### 2/5 — Paid subscription fee but doesn’t work *2026-06-24, version 1.0.18* I paid for the 12 month subscription to get the expanded rides but it still doesn’t give me access. I just get a NIL message. Tried restarting and deleting app and reinstalling but still doesn’t work or recognize I paid the subscription fee. Free trails work but it’s a no go on the expansion via the subscription. No way to access any type of help through the app so I’m requesting a refund from apple. ### 4/5 — Nautilus U628 *2026-02-08, version 1.0.18* A lovely app, would be wonderful to have music integrated with each ride. ### 4/5 — Does what I need *2026-01-26, version 1.0.18* I’ve used the app for years with my Nautilus R618 recumbent bike. The R618 is a “dumb” bike - it has Bluetooth but it doesn’t work with most current apps. This app stopped working for me as well but I found that if I turned off WiFi, it worked. I was very happy to discover this. The app is simple: time elapsed, distance and speed. I don’t need much else. The app hadn’t been updated for years until 17 new premium runs were added late in 2025! 8 new free Hawaiian runs appeared soon after. There are upwards of 250 runs if you have premium (it is worth it). I like to watch something while exercising. I don’t want to pay attention to a show or movie. I also don’t need an instructor or a community. This app does what I need for a reasonable price. I was wishing for more updates, but when I created a spreadsheet and realized there were upwards of 250 runs, I guess I can’t complain. My R618 fits my needs and is in great shape for five years old so I’m hoping this app outlasts my bike. ### 2/5 — App Doesn’t Truly Sync *2025-12-04, version 1.0.17* This app does not truly sync with the bike. When I use the app it falls behind on mileage and time. The subscription would not be worth it based on the syncing, and the free rides are just in a continuous loop. If I’m going to see the same things over and over on a one hour ride then I’m done with it. The Schwinn app was better, but it was sold and discontinued. ### 3/5 — Only way to Connect my Old Nautilus Equipment *2025-08-23, version 1.0.17* This is the only way to connect my old equipment to my iPhone health app. Since Nautilis seems to have shut down its old app. However, it seems to send across my data as outside cycling. It’s obviously connected to an indoor recumbent bicycle. It could at least send across the data correctlysince I’m doing that. I’m assuming if I were to connect to a treadmill, it would accidentally record me as running outdoors. I would like my data recorded correctly, considering I am disabled. ### 1/5 — Won’t load any of their screen *2025-08-09, version 1.0.17* Downloaded app to track my rides it’s pointless now. Doesn’t work crashes when you enter the Home Screen it’s a big white screen. Gotta tape anywhere to see if you can get a ride for free then when it starts the ride it’s a black screen and two orange circles. ### 1/5 — Inaccessible *2025-07-26, version 1.0.17* As a visually impaired user, this app is pretty much useless. Ils m’ont demandé les no de série de mes appareils et un vidéo comment je telecharge l’application. Puis aucune nouvelle. Très décevant ### 1/5 — Dysfunctional *2025-06-07, version 1.0.17* When opening the app, none of the maps or cities that used to show up are there. One just gets a blank screen and has to touch somewhere on the app or on that blank screen and gets connected to a city without knowing what city one's supposed to lbe viewing!. When you tap start ride, you get a black screen with a circle in the middle that keeps spinning like it's trying to connect. The mileage shows up at the bottom and the time of the ride shows up, but you never see the city you're supposedly riding in . At the end of the ride, you hit stop ride and it takes you to your previous workout screen and it says "downloading your data" but it never completes doing that! I’m using this on a Schwinn 270 and a 1st Gen 12.9” iPad Pro. A really bare-boned, stripped down piece of software, virtually zero features. It would be nice to have categories, such as off-road, cities, water, etc. Record of which routes you’ve traveled. Simple to do programmatically I would think. Can’t even get to the connect screen. I paid for a yearly fee charge to use this app and it doesn’t even work. Hope they fix it soon. It goes to the connect my bike screen and immediately crashes. Will let me ride on manual screen. Please fix the broken part of the app. Was a great app until the recent glitch. Update: crash fixed for a month and now it’s back to crashing again. Will not be renewing this subscription. Rarely works. Was great when it worked. I can no longer connect my bike. It hasn’t worked for months now. Will not show the various bike rides/routes. I even subscribed thinking that might be the issue. Nope. Just gave away a couple of months of fees. I’ve deleted it and redownloaded it, still not working. Signed up under a new email, nothing. Wasted quite a bit of time. It connected to my Schwinn 270 instantly and tracks a good amount of metrics. I am very pleased that it shared data with Apple Fitness upon my consent. I also enjoy the video more than I expected! ### 5/5 — Works Fab with My Schwinn 411 Elliptical *2023-05-16, version 1.0.17* The machine is awesome on its own, but the EtW app just makes it even more fun. I use my iPad (9th gen) and it works well. At first I thought it didn't, but then realized quickly that you have to choose a program on the elliptical FIRST, get it active, THEN choose "run" on EtW app, and it will pair via the bluetooth very easily. I've only used the free version so far, but I think I'll buy the premium soon. It's awesome how it stops when you stop and starts when you start! Love the visuals (French Riviera is my fave) and it works flawlessly. I have zero issues using the app. It works well and adds a nice level of fun to the ride. I cast from my phone to the big screen and it works very well. Beautiful views and just fun to watch! The app syncs up nicely with my Schwinn 170. It syncs well with my iphone. If I pedal fast, slow or stop it reflects on the screen perfectly. My distance traveled and time shows on the screen. Loads of beautiful videos and much cheaper subscription cost than other apps. Most are at least 6.2 miles, a couple are 4.1, many are 12.4 miles. I mounted a 32” tv right in front of the bike, and the videos look great. I recommend starting music, podcast, or radio app before starting Explore the World workout, since none of the videos so far have audio.
