## What is Explore Wild Essex?

A comprehensive guide to the nature reserves and country parks of Essex and east London: more than 280 different sites covering some 40,000 acres in total. Shows you where they all are and tells you how to get there, what features and facilities they offer and the best time to visit. Entry points, local stations and pubs, key features, footpaths and suggested routes are superimposed on satellite maps, and you can bring up neighbouring sites to help you to explore further. 

Also provides details of the wildlife you can expect to see at each site, so that you can make the most of your visits.

Based on a best-selling book of the same name but, unlike the book, does not get out-of-date!

Maps improved by using markers that show titles, and decluttered by grouping sites.
