## What is Explorer CCTV?

*IMPORTANT* Device and configuration setup data may be wiped when you update the Explorer app. We recommend you make a backup copy of the data before updating the app.

Very bad set up can’t get any HELP!!

I’ve been using this app for the last month with mixed results. When it works it works very well, but when it doesn’t it’s just crap. I like the functions available like playback and the ability to watch remotely but recently it’s refusing to connect saying “server failure” when I try to log in. Nothing has changed with my hardware, and it’s running fine from my tv/monitor so it’s must be to do with the app. This needs to be a more reliable product to be considered useful. 

 Edit: 09/01/2019. The newest update to smooth out bugs has thrown more bugs into the app. In landscape the picture is now squashed. During playback the picture cuts half way up the screen so I can only see the bottom part of the image. It does this when switching to HD too. Since the server issue the app has been working well but this update needs an update.

Edit: Since iOS 16 the app refuses to load any of my cameras. App hasn’t been updated in 3 years.

This day and age you shouldbt have to deal with apps like this ! Feels like your on a dial up connection with simple tasks made extremely hard, makes a very expensive cctv system make you think why you even bothered in the first place.

One of the worst apps ever developed. Constantly crashes, playback is nigh impossible, you have to keep closing it and reopening to it make it work sometimes. Stay away from Qvis and This app
