When it works it works very well, but when it doesn’t it’s just crap. I like the functions available like playback and the ability to watch remotely but recently it’s refusing to connect saying “server failure” when I try to log in. Nothing has changed with my hardware, and it’s running fine from my tv/monitor so it’s must be to do with the app. This needs to be a more reliable product to be considered useful. Edit: 09/01/2019. The newest update to smooth out bugs has thrown more bugs into the app. In landscape the picture is now squashed. During playback the picture cuts half way up the screen so I can only see the bottom part of the image. It does this when switching to HD too. Since the server issue the app has been working well but this update needs an update. Edit: Since iOS 16 the app refuses to load any of my cameras. App hasn’t been updated in 3 years. ### 2/5 — Was a great app but nowCrashes all the time *2021-02-19, version 2.8.3* I’ve used this app for many years, and it really is good it’s amazing what you can do. Since the last ISO update it now crashes all the time, I have plenty of memory in my machine so that is not the reason. Whole idea of having a cctv app is that you can click on it and view your cctv footage at any given moment. This app is slow it buffers for ages-I mean what’s the point if you need to view the camera footage ASAP especially when you are away from the home and it takes forever to load. The quality is fine and also depends on what technology you are viewing it on I have an iPhone XR and the quality in HD is pretty good but the buffering is annoying. Sort it out please as this app kind of defeats the point of having the cctv to view on the go! This has to be sorted ASAP because at times I feel as though I have to view my property and surroundings but how can I do that when it doesn’t ever load properly!!!! ### 2/5 — Not working *2020-03-19, version 2.8.3* Can you help, my app has stopped working all of a sudden, I deleted it and downloaded it agian, still not working. Changed password, still not working. Re put all my CCTV details in agian, still not working. Previously I have rated this app generously at best two star. Today I’ve updated this to four star and just a little more fluency it would gain five stars and become excellent. It’s presently the best it’s ever been, well at least for me. It’s now very satisfactory. Latest update 29 January 2019. On WiFi excellent, on 4G can NOT get any camera view before the app totally crashes out and shuts down. I’m I missing something thing here? This app is of absolutely no use if I can not view my cameras when away from my cctv system. If so, please please let me know, by writing a review called TRY THIS. I’m sure any advice to help make this app work properly will help many other people as well as myself. Latest update 16 January 2019. Oh dear - this update is fantastic on WiFi use. The best it’s ever been and very acceptable. However using 4G - camera views are static even in sd. And app sometimes crashes. No movements shown just a static image. Change this to the same as using WiFi (as it is now) and I would certainly give this app 5 star. Let’s hope you can update this again soon. Ie brill when on WiFi, absolutely no use on 4G. Please correct this soon. Updated today 4/1/2019. Today’s update has stalled my camera views on both 4G and WiFi and minimised the viewing picture size and will not change view to landscape. This is a big pity because over the last few months this app as appeared to work better than ever, though not great, though almost acceptable. These NEW faults need addressing, soon. Hopefully in the next few days or a couple of weeks, Not months. Just bought and set up a Qvis Quattro 5 in 1 first thoughts not a bad NVR. Then directed to this app. It's not good. Works fine whilst I'm on wifi and I stay at home. When I try to use this app on 4G it fails totally. I thought this app was made to allow you to monitor your system cameras when you are away from home, (away from your system). Is Adata a poor back street Company ? No l believe they are letting their customers down and know so because this NVR is of no use if you are unable to monitor your system cameras remotely. Once again I get a sinking feeling having purchased from Adata. It is truly time this Company made amends and spent some cash and invested in their (loyal) customers. Why don't you do the job right even if this meant a one off charge for the app. I would be willing to pay ten pounds or more if the app truly worked as we all would like. Wake up Adata it's 2017 ! ### 4/5 — New update version 2.8.1 *2019-01-16, version 2.8.2* 2.8.2 version just released 16 January 2019. And the squashed images have been restored. I can now see full screen on iPhone XR and iPad 7.5 in both HD and SD. Tested the 4G and boots up as normal with very little buffering. —————————————————————- Unfortunately I updated the app and each view of the camera looks awful on both iPad 7.5 and iPhone XR. Each view is badly clipped on both sides giving the impression of squashed images, especially in landscape view. It was perfect until I updated, why make something much, much worse. Can this not be set as an option in future updates? ### 4/5 — Works for me! *2017-02-21, version 2.7.14* To be honest, I wasn't expecting much when I installed this app. There were lots of 1 & 2 star reviews. I don't know if I am just lucky, but I actually think this works very well. I have forwarded the ports on my router and I am now able to monitor my CCTV remotely. Occasionally the app might need restarting, but nothing major.
