Would be so useful to be able to put in a dozen pavilions and then for it map the best route. The guidance is awful. Stick to a paper map. ### 2/5 — It stopped working *2022-02-23, version 3.1.2* It’s stopped working on the day we were in the expo. Said this app is no longer current version and it didn’t want to update. We had to then use paper maps and ask people where stuff was. ### 2/5 — Useless piece of software *2022-02-07, version 3.1.1* Standing in front of the entrance to Expo and unable to add my ticket!!! What a disaster. App confirm your ticket was successfuly added... And nothing... It's blank no ticket!!! Keeps on crashing, slow, can’t book smart queue, favourites doesn’t work etc.. Terrible UX and UI ### 1/5 — Favourite feature is pointless *2022-02-06, version 3.1.1* Linked my season pass which worked for two days and then it disappeared. Tried logging out and in again, tried quitting the app but still my ticket is lost. I still have the paper copy but this means I can’t use smart queue…. Same problem happened to my wife’s ticket on her phone. I starred all my favourite pavilions to see but there is 1) no obvious way to see only these pavilions on a map, 2) list of favourites doesn’t even list the district (there are two lines of test but both are the same…), 3) no obvious way to generate a navigation that takes the guest on the shortest path to visit all their favourite pavilions. This app was an opportunity to display a seamless UX but it was missed. The app only has some bubbly graphics, a cartoon map and a list of daily events. A real shame. ### 1/5 — Linked tickets dissappeared *2022-02-05, version 3.1.1* I linked my physical ticket (season pass) in the app but when I went back a month later it had dissappeared. I don't have the physical ticket anymore so what am I expected to do? Same thing happened with my wife. Surely ticketing should be a core part of this app - how can it not keep track of linked tickets effectively??? ### 2/5 — Horrible design and useless *2022-02-05, version 3.1.1* I am struggling to understand the point of this app. It is absolutely unacceptable to hype this event and call this app semi functional. I’ve used Beta version apps with less bugs. For an event that is all about sustainability, innovation and smart communication, this is the worst app. Half the functions don’t work. - Smart que is a mission to find, and half the time doesn’t work. - Map location doesn’t update your location. - Won’t let me link my ticket. - super slow. - drains your battery. - if a pavilion is shut, app doesn’t tell you. It even lets you book a smart que time slot and when you turn up you find it closed. Shocking! considering the hype around this even I expected better UI, and functionality that actually works. It kept crashing, so everyone with “smart ques” booked couldn’t even visit. ### 1/5 — Stopped recognizing my season pass *2022-02-05, version 3.1.1* The app suddenly delinked my season pass and I can’t relink it. It has also been super slow and glitchy the whole time since day one. ### 1/5 — Not working! *2022-01-27, version 3.1.0* It always says “system integrity check failed” ### 1/5 — Worst App Ever *2022-01-14, version 3.0.1* This is one of the worst apps I have ever used the UX is not intuitive at all I have even had to close my phone twice to get out of the app so disappointing of something that should have made the visit east to plan and make the most of the visit to the Expo ### 1/5 — Poor Perfomance *2022-01-13* App said my ticket was expired and wouldn’t let me link the ticket. This is the same ticket I used to enter the Expo 10 minutes before I attempted to link it. This prevented me from entering some of the more popular exhibits that required reservations. ### 1/5 — Smart pass not working *2022-01-12* Gets stuck loading my ticket on the manage tickets and smart passes screen. Used to work so I’m not sure what happened. Please fix asap. ### 1/5 — Rubbish *2022-01-02, version 3.0.1* App has map but a paper version would be far better. I expected an intuitive app, especially for an event about technology and the future. I can vaguely find my way to list the countries I want to visit but there’s no point in it if it’s not linked to the map in an interactive way. I don’t want to be looking at my phone all the time at Expo going between my list then working out where on the map it is. Ridiculous! ### 3/5 — Pointless When Used for Smart Queue Purposes *2021-12-22* I’m 100% sure people download the app especially to reserve a spot at most visited pavilions, which makes the app rather useless as those places are not included in the Smart Queue list. ### 2/5 — App keeps crashing and why does it take so much space *2021-11-18* Whenever i try to open the app it crashes i am using ios 12 and why is the app taking over half a gig in storage the ui is not that good to be consuming this much storage and there aren’t as many services in it either... ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Embarrassing for an expo *2022-03-24, version 3.2.0* Completely useless the smart queue ars not working and no events in the list. The general quality of the user experience is below minimum acceptable for an Expo of innovation. ### 1/5 — Not opening *2022-02-27* I downloaded the app. According to the app’s description and requirement details, my old iPhone 6 should be able to run it on its 12.5.5 iOS. But the user context is not at all user friendly, typical of things written by geeks. ### 1/5 — Awful user experience *2022-02-07, version 3.1.1* Spent more then 2 hrs trying to buy premium tickets, all forms of payments failed miserably except of applePay, finally managed to buy 4 ‘premium’ experience tickets but the app failed to link them to my account. Staff at the expo grounds mentioned the system is down for 3 days already. Mobile app won’t let save favorites. No instructions on how to use your premium tickets benefits. Avoid buying them as value for money is not there. Thought I’d compile a list of favourite pavilions, but it only remembers the last favourite you added. Truly useless app - what’s the point? ### 1/5 — It cancelled everything *2022-02-06, version 3.1.1* I registered my tickets and was picking the pavilions for the smart queue for about a week.. then today I logged in and everything had disappeared. I also cannot register the tickets again for some reason. I spent hours picking the pavilions and the time and everything was wasted and in vain. ### 1/5 — We were almost denied entry *2022-02-06* We linked our tickets on the app. Yesterday when we tried entering the Expo 2020 the tickets were nowhere to be found. Thank God we had the online purchase on our google drive. We couldn’t use our smart passes. Today I again tried and it’s blank.
