## What is eXT_?

[eXT] is a notes app built for people who just want to write, not manage a system. Tap the + button, start typing — the first line becomes the title, and it saves the moment you leave. That's it.

Swipe to organize. Swipe a note left to bin or archive it, right to pin it to the top or flag it — each action gets its own color-coded highlight so your list stays scannable at a glance. Changed your mind? Deleted and archived notes can be restored with a swipe, right up until you empty the bin for good.

A real private space. The Secret vault keeps sensitive notes behind a password, hashed and never stored in plain text. If you ever forget it, a dedicated "Forgot Password" flow securely wipes just the vault so you're never locked out for good.

Add a photo to any note. A small thumbnail shows right in your notes list, so you can spot the note you're after without opening it.

Made to match how you work. Switch between Light and Dark mode any time. eXT is fully translated into English, French, Italian, German, Arabic, Chinese, and Japanese — the interface follows your choice, your notes stay exactly as you wrote them.

Genuinely offline. No sign-up, no cloud sync, no analytics, no ads. Every note is stored locally on your device — your writing is yours.

- Convert any existing note into a Secret vault note.
- New Backup screen: export your notes to a file, or restore from one. Secret notes are never included, so the vault stays private.

- Landscape mode: unlock screen rotation from the side panel (locked to portrait by default).
- Long notes now scroll properly, and the keyboard no longer covers what you're typing.
- Spanish added to the language switcher.
- Light/Dark mode now applies consistently across headers, badges, and buttons.

- Remove a photo before saving a new note.
- New app icon.
