Reordering stops and being able to go back a step are welcome additions. The new layout is clunky, however. I much prefer the compactability of the old version. There is no longer an easy way to collapse and view my entire route for the day at a glance without having to scroll. It also frequently bugs out when switching between portrait and landscape modes, causing it to only use about 3/4 of the screen space when you return to portrait. Most egregious, however, is the new camera interface. What was wrong with using the default iPhone camera interface? The new one is extremely limited in functionality and makes it very difficult to easily take good pictures of delivered product. There is no ability to zoom in or out, and the default is too close in making it almost impossible find an angle that captures everything I need in the photo. It is also difficult to take landscape photos when you only have one free hand, as the photo button moves out of reach as soon as you turn the phone on its side. ### 2/5 — Works, sort of *2026-07-08* Stop adding slick user interface upgrades until you fix the underlying problems that have been ongoing for years. Used to be an efficient app that was user friendly. Now it’s the complete opposite. If my company didn’t force me to use this app, I would use literally any other app. Complete trash! ### 1/5 — Newest update problems *2026-07-07* Newest update won’t allow me to start my route? We used to get notifications when we get orders not anymore. I have to check every so often to make sure I do not have an order. The old app it would let me know I was at my right location. Now it does not. When you are going to a new location that really helped letting me know. ### 1/5 — Bad recent update *2026-06-24* The most recent UI update is a major step back. I have lost all camera controls to zoom while taking pictures. the different stops all blur together where they used to be blatantly separate. I lose all of the stop information when I check in for the stop now, so if there’s a poc phone number I need I have to write it down before checking in or it will go away. I wish whoever approved the recent UI update a warm pillow on both sides of their pillow! ### 1/5 — Terrible UI update. *2026-06-22* Change the stops page before I start a route back to the way it was, I don’t want to have to scroll just to see every location of any more than 2 stops. Fix the icon size at the bottom of the widgets screen too they’re the size of a flea. Entire update Looks clunky and inefficient. Also taking photos is slower now somehow? Like I used to hit the photo button and it was done, now it buffers for a whole second before actually capturing anything. ### 1/5 — new update is terrible *2026-06-16, version 10.0.0* ever since the new update , i never hear the notification sound to let me know i got a delivery, now i have to check the app every so often . ### 1/5 — Audio notification issues on iOS after the latest update *2026-06-15, version 10.0.0* Since the latest update of the Extra Driver app, I have encountered a few critical issues regarding audio notifications. Please note that these issues are specific to iPhone 16 Pro Max (iOS), while the app works completely fine and without any of these problems on Android devices. The issues on iOS are: 1. Background Notification Sound: Audio notifications for interviews/tasks only work if the app's main screen is actively open. If the app is running in the background while I am using another application, there is no sound—only a single vibration. 2. Notification Delay: Even when the audio notification does work (with the screen open), it is delayed by more than 25 seconds after the task has been assigned. Please address these iOS-specific bugs as soon as possible. Thank you! ### 1/5 — New Update is terrible. *2026-06-09* The UI is strange looking I could get used to it. However, when it comes to the actual functions of the app it is bad. Whenever I try to collect signatures, it continues to force close almost all the time. The new camera is weird and it is very inconsistent on where the button is to take a picture on the actual camera. The way the app ran or was run before was infinitely better. ### 1/5 — Sucks *2026-04-06, version 7.8.2* Have to manually start route arrive and depart it used to do this automatically ### 1/5 — Poor Customer Service *2025-09-05* The app keeps crashing. Logs you out automatically. Need to enter credentials again. But it doesn’t pull up the manifests. Everything else seems to be functioning fine, except drivers are blind because they can’t see nor navigate to their stops. Reached out to cs and they stated it was a “dispatch” problem. Umm NO!! It’s an Elite Extra Problems. Ever since the first of the two (and still an issue) my alerts, while not actively having this as the primary open app and with the appropriate settings, will not push an alert notification to my Home Screen or lock screen anymore.
