## What is Extra$?

An app that helps lower food waste by selling it or giving away expiring, or over prepared food. Give or sell your food instead of making leftovers. Some can choose to start a side hustle selling meals. Good cooks will make money off of quality healthy food. If you are testing out a recipe, somebody will test it out for free and can offer up some constructive feedback in profile reviews. Micro Kitchens are popping up around the country and Extras is a good way to make your kitchen known publicly. Restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, can sell at a discount soon to be expired or old food. People don’t have a lot of extra time during the work week to make a healthy good meal. Also fast food options in the area are getting old. These people can open up their food pallet from community cooks, and save money. Food in less demand can be given away for free. People in need now have access to more food options other than food banks.
