If you are looking for a game that can be played by children without frustrating them, this is it. My siblings and I used to play this when younger and it kept us entertained. As an adult now, this game is quite simplistic, but good if you are bored at the airport, or in need of a break from the world for a bit. There are several avatars to choose from (Tux, Trixie, Boris, and a few others) and the passes range from the super easy bunny hill to the trickier narrow passes. The weather and lighting conditions are adjustable too. Game play is easy to do on a keyboard using the arrow keys and your avatar is capable of speeding up, braking, turning, etc. If you are tired of seeing advertisements on other games and want a game you can play mindlessly, this is for you. I would not expect anything intense or challenging from it, but for the price and the ease of use, I consider it worth it. ### 1/5 — Stürzt sofort ab *2021-01-10* Schade. Ich habe auf meinem Linux Rechner den Tux Racer wiederentdeckt und wollte ihn auch auf dem Mac spielen. Leider bricht das Spiel sofort nach dem Start ab. **Developer response:** Hi, Please try the recently released version 0.8.106.
