The clarity test text is so large it tests nothing. You can make it smaller without subscription. The free version has no value. The instructions say to read each letter from a “normal reading distance.” Unfortunately, there is nothing to input them into, so they are completely useless. Not only that, but because these are AI-generated, some of the letters aren’t real. They are smudged blobs of what the AI thinks letters might look like. You click the “next” button and they show you another AI-generated vision test with fake letters. Unbelievable. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. So either way it’s based on how similar to a certain letter someone thinks it is rather than strictly for eye sight testing. Couldn’t get a refund from Apple. Even the ‘free’ test was useless.
