## What is EyeDock?

The EyeDock app is an iPhone companion to eyedock.com, a website for eye care professionals.

The EyeDock app contains a regularly updated database of contact lenses and topical ophthalmic medications as well as calculators related to contact lens fitting.  

Contact lenses can be searched by:
- name
- company
- parameters (including lens type, power, dk, diameter, h2o content, EW, & replacement schedule)

All available parameter information is displayed as well as links to manufacturer's websites and package inserts.

Medications can be searched by trade name, generic name, manufacturer, type, generic availability, pregnancy class, and more.

CALCULATORS
- Contact lens calcs (soft sphere and toric, RGP sphere, bitoric, back toric, and front toric).
- Vertex spectacle Rx's to the corneal plane.
- Keratometry conversions (mm - diopters)
- Oblique cross-cylinder calcs

I love this APP.  Once installed, you don’t need constant internet access to use it...so it’s a really quick, up to date reference for contacts, ocular meds, and more.  I’ve used it for 15+ years and would be lost without it.

I use this App everyday in my office. The information is reliable and up-to-date. Whenever I have an unusual fit, I look for the range of powers or angle of astigmatisms and easily find a host of possibilities. I would hate to fit contacts without it.

Excellent resource for dosing topical prescriptions and navigating contact lens searches. Very responsive team that addresses questions. Updates frequently so contact lens changes are current. Not buggy. I subscribe yearly. I use this probably 3-6 times per week from the exam room.
