## What is EyeRec?

This is an app that uses the iPhone’s built-in motion sensors to overlay head position animations onto videos of nystagmus.
By using the front-facing camera, users can record their own nystagmus. In this mode, the screen itself serves as a light source.

### 1.6 — 2026-07-23

The screen brightness is now set to maximum at launch, making the preview easier to see in dark environments.

### 1.5 — 2026-07-21

Changed the zoom control for the preview on the main screen from a pinch gesture to a zoom slider.

### 1.4 — 2026-07-18

Added the ability to adjust the recording area using pinch and drag gestures. Instructions have also been added to the home screen.

Updated the recording start/stop button design and revised the Help page.

The email button on the video playback page was changed to a share button, allowing sharing methods other than email.
Adjusted the button appearance on the video playback screen to be semi-transparent to prevent obstruction of the video content.
The usage/help page was also updated accordingly.
Added a recording button to the center-right area of the main screen.
