Doesn’t update quickly at all. Slower than print media. ### 1/5 — Used to be good, not updating anymore *2023-03-03, version 2.1.1* The news articles hasn’t been updated in more than four days. Seems stuck. App really needs some attention. I supose, in the light thant nothing is happening, and no one responds to these reviews, that EWN closed down. ### 1/5 — App no longer updates *2023-03-02* The app no longer updates. Stuck on content from 4 days ago. I’ve checked in my settings and there are no issues. ### 2/5 — Crashes and no video sound *2021-11-03, version 2.1.1* The app crashes fairly frequently and watching a video in the app does not include sound (yes, I unmuted). The background doesn’t need to be so bright, make it change with day-time and night time brightness changes. I can’t carry on reading your articles and having your app on my phone when you allow racialised commentary which is meant to divide society. CRT and other intolerant ideologies that you espouse are deeply destructible. I really hope there is some introspection and you can return to a more liberal ideology. ### 2/5 — No search bar *2021-09-01* How do you create this app with no search bar. Was looking for a specific story and couldn’t find it ### 1/5 — Gauteng traffic on my app instead of Capetown traffic *2021-08-12, version 2.1.1* I have your news app and have given permission for you to have my location which happens to be Rosebank but in Cape Town and still keep on getting the traffic and news for probably Rosebank in Johannesburg, Gauteng which is of no earthly use to me. One can only assume it’s because Apple requires developers to provide privacy details upon the next update. They haven’t, they won’t so no update is incoming any time soon. I have deleted then reinstalled with no joy. Using an iPhone 14.
