## What is EZ Link Setup?

Our EZ Link products are shipped with the EZ Link feature button disabled. To enable this button and use the EZ Link feature, you need to establish parental consent and select a preferred streaming service that the EZ Link will use to access content. Once the feature is enabled, please leave EZ Link Setup App open to allow the EZ Link feature to operate.This is a one-time activation.  Once the EZ Link feature is enabled, leave the app running in the background, but you do not need to use this app again unless you wish to disable the feature, or change your preferred streaming service.Do I have to leave the EZ Link Setup App open?

The EZ Link button, once enabled, will connect the user to existing playlists on their selected streaming service. To open the streaming service, and access the playlist, the EZ Link Setup App does need to be running.How do I enable the EZ Link feature?To unlock this feature, first, connect the Bluetooth device running this app to the karaoke machine with the EZ Link feature.Next, you will need to answer a few short questions to prove that you are an adult, and then agree to the terms and conditions of using the EZ Link feature.  Lastly, select the streaming service you would like the EZ Link feature to use.

So I just got this app and it succeeded amazingly I rate it 5 stars and I don’t just have to play Disney songs it’s an amazing app like the bad reviews are wrong and it stays on Bluetooth unless you take it off. Great app! I recommend downloading it!

What’s the purpose? Why have an app to open your music player? I thought it would come with a free playlist or something, but no.. it just opens up music apps you already have downloaded. Sure, there’s a “free” playlist on YouTube but if you don’t have YouTube premium then you’ll be listening to ads for ages. …On a good note, connecting was easy but that’s it. There’s no fun interface to select songs.

We set up the app with an Encanto machine and when we click the ez link button once or long press it it goes to the same playlist. It won’t play just Encanto music like the app says it will.

Because I was totally uncertain what the app even did. We got the Frozen microphone Dec 2024, one for each of our kids (3yo and almost 2). The almost 2 yr old repeatedly pushes the biggest button, which is the one that does nothing but tell you to connect the EZ Link app. So the way it works (if you can get it to connect which took a few tries) is that you have to have the app open while your kid pushes the button and then it opens your music app to the frozen soundtrack. You have to then push play on your music app on your phone…. And the music plays on your phone. It’s not so helpful. It would actually be more helpful and fewer taps for me to say “hey siri, play frozen”.

App will not connect to device. I don’t understand the need for an app at all for an audio streaming device it seems extremely redundant. If the goal is to make the experience easier for the customer it adds a layer of complexity. For reference I run a dealership service department and have an extensive home theater seat up and am well above “technology savy”
And can not get this app to work or communicate. Good luck, bought a Bluetooth microphone and paired it my receiver and my girls are having much more fun.

Like the others who have given this app a high rating, I’d like to say that I think maybe the low ratings are user error. If you have it on, and set on Bluetooth, it connects easily and quickly and works perfectly fine.
