It would not accept either my id or password. I got ac”code” to sign in and each time it said the code was not correct ( it was, all 3 times). So I removed the app and reinstalled it twice or more. It still won’t work. BUT if I go directly on the website everything ( id, pw & codes) work. What’s the point if having an app if it won’t work. ### 1/5 — Trash app *2022-11-17* Don’t waste your time downloading this app it’s not actually managed through New York State. I wouldn’t be allowing this app to have access to your EZ-pass account and credit card information. ### 1/5 — Not official one! *2022-11-01* Don’t download it. For some reason the app has all of my credit cards on there. I did not add them. How did they get access to it? When do they collect that $10 fee to maintain a service I did not realize I was buying? Get the Tolls NY app which is the actual mobile product for E-ZPass management. ### 1/5 — BEWARE SCAMMERS *2021-03-11, version 1.2.1* They show that they charge 0.99 cents additional fee for an transaction (i got a screenshot), but in reality they charge $1.99 ### 1/5 — Great PHISHING APP *2020-12-10* Who ever stopped to think of this was a genius.. Knew the public wished there was an app to handle EZ-Pass business.. Knowing there wasn’t one boom, here comes this! We have nothing to do with the federal government yet we made an app to ask you your private credentials towards.. Then charge you a gateway fee to access your OWN information INGENIOUS scheme might I add! Public, please take the time to read whom is actually designing these apps before you jump to place your account information including your credit/debit information onto their servers. EZ-Pass in NY is under MTA and managed by NY & NJ Bridges and Tunnels. If it’s not from either of the authorities then it’s not where you should be signing up for. ### 3/5 — Kia models *2020-10-26* Kia Stinger is no in the model list. If I see something fishy going with my account now I’ll make sure to sue. EZ PASS NY PLEASE TAKE ACTION! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — STOPPED WORKING *2026-03-15* This was just a standard app to be able to see what your balance was and to add a credit card to fund. For the past three months, I try to add funds when close to being depleted, and I get a message that says that my card cannot be used at. My wife experiences the same thing I called Ez pass of New York and they have no clue because they have nothing to do with this app. Does anyone else experiences? Is there going to be an update? Somebody needs to fix this issue. ### 1/5 — Scam!!! *2025-12-09, version 2.0.4* DO NOT DOWNLOAD!! The official app for NY Ez Pass is “Tolls NY”. Funds uploaded in this app do not make it to your ez pass account and trying to get answers or support is useless and nonexistent. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!! Shame on Apple for allowing this in the App Store. ### 1/5 — Ezpass are Crooks! *2022-12-20, version 1.3.1* I have an ezpass and because i went over, and didn’t replenish it, I was charged $220.34 for two trips worth $20.34 a month later. Administration fees, they say… and their costumer service is just as bad. I felt I was talking to a collector agency from the beginning. Horrible! Can we unite and sue the mta/ezpass for highway robbery? After using this app for last few months, I have to give it 2 thumbs up. If you’ve ever called their main # to add funds, you appreciate paying .99 for fast easy convince. And the app is bug free no freezing or bad info. And some complain about updated account info. Jan and Feb amounts taken as agreed. March 1, 2020 EZ Pass snatched $180.00 Dollars from my bank under false pretenses; EZ Pass claims their system monitored my toll use well over the agreed upon $40 Dollars. I pleaded the system is erroneous but supervisor kept a blind understanding and repeated false data generated by system. I reported to my bank claims dept and cancelled payments to EZ Pass. An app that does everything I need it to do, it lets me check my EZ Pass balance and transactions without having to login to the EZ Pass website. Know It is not an app developed by EZPass organization. I like the flow and what it does. If you want to add funds, well, you will be charged 0.99 cents for processing fee. If you don't want pay this, then pay on EZ Pass website. But I do like this app. And will use it. ### 4/5 — Canadians excluded *2019-09-09* From some reason I cannot add a Canadian license plate (select a province). Yet on the actual EZ Pass website it’s no problem to do so. Please fix this on your next update.
