## What is ezBookLedger?

ezBookLedger is for people who want control over their financial data. It has no ads, and the free version covers everyday bookkeeping.
ezBookLedger does not provide a central cloud account or host your financial records. In local mode, no account is required: your ledger stays on your device, with optional iCloud backup and restore. In server mode, you connect to an ezBookkeeping server you host or manage for access and syncing across devices.
Key features:
- Quick entry: Add transactions manually, with Shortcuts, or with help from screenshot recognition.
- Clear insights: Browse a transaction timeline, activity calendar, spending trends, budgets, and category statistics.
- Flexible imports: Import CSV files. With a self-hosted server, preview Alipay and WeChat statements and choose which transactions to add.
- Your choice of storage: Keep a local ledger without signing up, or record transactions offline with your own server and sync when back online.
- Backup and sharing: Back up a local ledger to iCloud, and save or share a daily receipt.
Pro unlocks more themes, multiple server connections, and batch imports of Alipay and WeChat statements.
ezBookLedger is an independent third-party client for ezBookkeeping and is not affiliated with its developers.
