Causes recording to stop and you need to start a new set recording that you need to splice together manually later. ### 4/5 — ITS GOOD BUT NOT GREAT *2021-05-06, version 3.0.273* I was super excited when I found this app. I really wanted to record volleyball . So i started to use it and everything went well.Then I would record and when I would export the video the score which show up really late. The score showed up after I had clicked end play. He has thought of everything we volleyball parents & coaches could need. I especially like the interaction, scoring is easy to correct, the different download choices please everyone on our team, and the best addition is the favorite button so we can easily make highlight reels. It also connects to YouTube perfectly. Most of all, the developer’s communication is superb & his commitment to helping us learn is most appreciated. ### 5/5 — Great Customer Service *2019-11-25, version 2.0.98* I was setting up this product and was having some user errors issues. Emailed customer service on a Sunday night and they got back to me very quickly. After diagnosing my issues, he resolved them in a very short time frame. I was so impressed with the service I told the rep to tell their boss they deserve a raise! He replied back, he didn’t need to, he’s the one who wrote the program! In today’s digital world, good customer service is hard to find, this company gets it. I’m looking forward to getting back some time this spring since this app does all the editing and posts to YouTube for me. I have been using this app with my teams as well as my own daughter for indoor and beach volleyball and there is nothing better on the market. I emailed their site and within 10 min I got a phone call to help and correct the issue! Not only that, because I was in town he made a special trip to the tournament and he actually gave me a free tutorial on questions I had on site I love the app and the support makes it unbeatable, unfortunately we lost a heart breaker against the #1 seed. Would highly recommend this app. ### 5/5 — Must have for volleyball parents *2019-04-13, version 2.0.79* This is the 2nd club season that I have use the EzReelz app. It has become an invaluable tool for not only my daughter but for the whole team. Super easy to make a highlight film and upload to YouTube. While recording at tournaments I get asked numerous times what app I use. Did have a problem this past week and had to contact customer service. All I can say is wow. Just awesome service and help. My settings: HD, 60fps, bitrate - better. First, my screen would lock if I don’t record a new set while the team is still practicing. I want to start the recording when the set is about to start. Second, it would stop streaming in the middle of a match. I didn’t have these issues before I updated to the latest version. Is there a way to revert to the previous version? ### 1/5 — Can’t live stream. *2024-03-25, version 4.0.410* Just paid $15 for one month of the app only to find out YouTube doesn’t let you live stream unless you have at least 50 subscribers. The app makers should tell you that. (I know there is a free trial of this app but it ran out before I got to try it.) ### 1/5 — Lousy app. *2019-05-08, version 2.0.86* Screwed my videos. Only can upload coach ‘s cut which randomly skips some video and make s the scores not sync with videos. Please fix immediately. ### 2/5 — Some kinks to be worked out *2019-03-28, version 2.0.72* -Has bug where it won’t allow a clip to be messaged directly from the picture from camera roll - app video view doesn’t show same zoom as iPad camera/video view... this causes difficulties and ease of knowing what is actually in the picture -Issues when trying to change match/tournament names (will change old match names and info too if you don’t do something exactly right).. could be more user friendly -coach cut and highlights options are great.. the new upgrade to allow for those for all matches was a good upgrade... please fix the bug to be able to message a clip from the roll like other pics or video clips done outside of the app (Apple said this was an app issue when I called technical support).. you have to attach a clip when in a message already and sometimes it can be difficult to attach the right clip from the thumbnail ... this should be fixed immediately ### 3/5 — Coach’s cut is a differentiating feature *2023-02-13* Overall this is a solid, capable app with room for improvement. The tutorial is helpful. Some features have inadequate help written about them to understand what they do and any comparisons to or consequences of options. My main request for change is… For the high cost of the subscription, I should be able to replace the ezReelz logo on the scoreboard with my team logo and should be able to choose NOT have an ezReelz promotional clip inserted at the start of each video. ### 3/5 — Needs better support *2022-01-09, version 3.5.108* The basic functions are great. However, I am getting crashing trying to process and export video. The app also does not allow use of external drives. Only local photos folder, iCloud or export to YouTube (which crashes for me). Run low on space in the middle of a tournament? Your sunk if you can’t upload/process video. No way to just move data off the app. No forums or detailed help on the website. Unfortunately, it appears that I can only record 720p with the HD setting (4K unsupported with streaming, which I understand). The ease in which the videographer has to mark points and new plays greatly cuts down on post-processing. The interactive running clock and scores give the viewer a great perspective what the status of a game is. One thing I’d recommend for a product enhancement is the ability to edit the match number. Over the weekend I accidentally started a new match mid-way through the 3 day tournament which auto-incremented the match number. This caused the videos Match-Set numbers to be out of sequence with the teams tournament schedule. A second product enhancement request is the ability to restart recording a set that has been inadvertently ended by either hitting the end set button or having thenvidepnrecordingntermonate because of an incoming call or app notification.
