I had a problem with red lights on my camera for ages. I thought was a firmware issue. And couldn't find the support. Turns out I needed a new USB adapter. Problem solved. ### 2/5 — Red lights. I love the ease of use, the friendliness of the app, all the different features like defining the notification area. I have used them with and without the cloud service, which I feel is a pretty reasonable price. I have different generations of them, but mine are all bullet cameras because that’s what I wanted. The only thing I wish is that there was a camera with a wider field of view. And I don’t know why they’re not selling them in the US anymore. I hope that changes because I need to buy a couple more! Loved it when it worked but only have photos now as can’t register the card ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Abysmal, terrible intercom *2026-09-01, version 7.6.0* This unit has never worked properly since I got it, customer support is non existent, do this do that, days to respond, I paid £400 for the system and it’s useless. The app is so basic it’s useless too, needs a signal right next to it and given it’s an external intercom system that has meant I’ve had to spend another £260 getting one fitted! Avoid EZVIZ ### 1/5 — Do not get any EZVIZ product *2026-08-27, version 7.6.0* This is one of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with. The products work for a short time and then when you have problems their customer service might as well be non existent. They only give you generic responses that you could already find on the internet if you take the time to look. I truly believe they do not know how their own products work. I have been dealing with an issue with my security cameras for about a year now, still is not fixed and the more I deal with them the worse things get. You buy a security camera, but if you need to change the administrator/owner of the device, instead of properly helping you resolve the issue, they can leave the camera blocked and effectively unusable.The solution I was offered? Buy another camera. For a company selling security and surveillance products, this is unacceptable. Customers should not have to replace perfectly functional hardware simply because of an account or administrator issue that customer support fails to resolve. It feels less like customer service and more like an aggressive and disrespectful sales strategy: “Your camera is blocked? Buy another one.” EZVIZ should focus not only on selling more devices, but also on providing reliable after-sales support, clear communication, and proper solutions for existing customers. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend EZVIZ. ### 1/5 — DISLIKE AI INTERGRATION *2026-08-08, version 7.5.9* Very poor decision as interferes with app usage and can’t access other parts of the app once it takes over very poor quality ### 1/5 — Decent camera, not a very good app. *2026-08-01, version 7.5.8* I’ve had the peephole camera for about a year. Spent a lot of time researching for something that I didn’t have to use some kind of cloud to store videos. It’s good for that reason, and it has been helpful as a camera. But the app has been frustrating at times. It feels slow to load and respond, and the new AI feature is hilariously useless. I reached out to support to find a way to turn it off because it takes up so much space when reviewing what’s captured. They purposefully wasted my time asking for unnecessary information like a screenshot of the problem in order to answer my question. Then they never even responded. We’ve already moved to two different houses, and the camera is still working perfectly fine. It’s been reliable all these years, which is honestly impressive. One of my favourite features is that we can communicate with our family members through the camera, which makes it so convenient when we’re in different rooms or just want to check in with each other. After several years and two moves, it’s still going strong. EZVIZ must introduce that to UK market too. Great security great after care from EZVIZ support team. I never go back to any other systems. I would like EZVIZ to bring more new inventions so that we can benefit too. Security at highest levels. Need to refine camera detection like AI few false alarm triggering like human detection and vehicle detection without any of those presence. But fully reliable only bit concerned is not all POE cameras very few only . Great to have all EZVIZ cameras coming with POE so that we can use single cable to run all PTZ and fix cameras .
