I am very disappointed with this CP Plus camera. It did not meet my expectations at all. The recording feature is unreliable, with recordings frequently missing or not saving properly. A security camera is supposed to provide dependable surveillance, but this product fails at its most important function.

Overall, it feels like a waste of money. I would not recommend this camera to anyone looking for reliable security monitoring until these recording issues are resolved.

Whenever I try to check the recorded videos using the ‘playback’ option, the app by default shows the first recoded video of the current day. Logically, it should show the latest recording of the current day. Because of this, whenever I wish to check the latest recording, I have to manually scroll to the current time for this.
I have already sent an email to support team for this. Please check and fix.

I have a paid cloud recording subscription for one of my cameras, but the service is unreliable. Most of the time, when I need to access recorded footage, the app shows “Failed to load the cloud recording data.”

I have raised multiple support tickets through the app, but have received no response. For a paid security service, both reliability and customer support are far below expectations. Very disappointing experience.

Hi dev team. 
I absolutely like what you have done with the UI/UX. Love it
I have a pain point which if solved can be an amazing feature
Whenever an automatic clip is recorded by detecting a motion the process time to start recording to on disk storage has a drift from the actual event that triggered the recording, even if the drift is very small vital info is lost also in the same way the action leading to the record trigger might be important. 
I would suggest to attach t-10 to t-5 seconds to the start of the of the recording 
t = trigger time

I think that can be a very subtle but very good thing to capture the actions leading to the trigger of the recording event.


I’m hopeful you will consider this.

### 5/5 — Great UI! Question about accessing live feed locally for home automation

First of all, I want to say that I really appreciate the design of your application. The UI is clean, intuitive, and very easy to use. I also think the cloud streaming functionality is implemented very well — being able to access the camera feed from anywhere is extremely convenient.

I had a small technical question regarding the camera’s streaming capabilities. I run a small home server on my local network and like to archive recordings locally for my own storage and automation purposes.

I was wondering if the camera exposes any way to access the live stream over the local network (LAN). For example, something like an RTSP stream, local URL endpoint, or a port that allows accessing the feed directly within the same network. Even if it requires authentication, that would be perfectly fine.

My thought was that since the camera already streams video to your cloud service, there might be a way to access the same stream locally within the LAN and process it on a home server.

If such an option exists, I would love to learn more about it. Even documentation for developers or advanced users would be incredibly helpful.

Terrible Product — Do Not Buy!

This camera is extremely disappointing. Every time you try to access the recordings, the camera goes offline. It doesn’t even maintain a stable Wi-Fi connection — it can’t stay connected from just 10 feet away.

If you’re considering buying this product, look for something much better. It’s worth spending more on a reliable camera because this one simply doesn’t work.

I would like to share a constructive suggestion regarding the video playback functionality in CP PLUS Wi-Fi camera 

Currently, the maximum playback speed available is limited to 2×, which can be time-consuming when reviewing long-duration surveillance footage, especially during audits, investigations, or routine monitoring. Increasing the playback speed options to 4×, 6×, or up to 8× would significantly improve efficiency and user experience.

Higher playback speeds are commonly available in comparable surveillance systems and are extremely useful for quickly identifying events of interest without compromising operational productivity.

I request you to kindly consider this enhancement in future firmware or software updates. This improvement would add substantial value for users who regularly review large volumes of recorded footage.
