F+R 90 is the pager companion app for retained firefighters of Fire and Rescue NSW Station 90 Menai. Sign in with your own Gartan credentials and get: NOW — the current incident at a glance: job type, incident number, location and a live job-age timer. Tell the crew you're responding with one tap: on the way, delayed, at station, on the tanker or retained relief. See everyone else's status live. AVAILABILITY — live station status from Gartan: who's available right now, the 24-hour online/offline timeline, and which platoon is on shift today. STATION CONTACTS — tap-to-call numbers for the station, pump and tanker, plus every member grouped by platoon, with the on-duty platoon highlighted. HISTORY — past MENAI incidents grouped by day, including repeated pages. REPORT — your six-month incident attendance average, with the full brigade breakdown for authorised officers. Live updates stream to your phone the moment a new page arrives — no manual refreshing during a callout. Your password is used once to confirm who you are with Gartan and is never stored on the device. This app is intended for members of FRNSW Station 90 Menai. A Gartan account is required to sign in. ## Version history (last 5 releases) ### 3.4.0 — 2026-09-15 Everything since 3.3.2, in one update. ATTENDANCE • Your percentage counts only the call-outs since you joined, instead of marking you absent for the months before you started. Your breakdown shows how far through your first six months you are. • That now works for a member who joins already qualified, not only for a recruit. JOBS AND HISTORY • The address scanner reads the truck's MDT screen as well as the station printout — point it at the ADDRESS field. • The address entered for a job is kept with the job in History, so you can look up where a past job was and navigate there again. • History is grouped by month: the current month still lists its days, and earlier months collapse into a single line you can open when you want them. TANKER DUTY • Recruits are left out of the rotation by default — turn it on in Settings to take your turn. SIGNING IN • Signing out clears your access immediately, even with no signal, and finishes tidying up on the server when you reconnect. • Pager data stored on the phone is protected until you first unlock, and is kept out of backups. • Stronger checks that brigade data and actions belong to your own session. ### 3.3.2 — 2026-08-28 Radio quick reference: the radio icon on the Now screen opens the FRNSW priority colour codes, status codes 1-7, the CAN report and PAR. Tap the platoon on the Now screen or on Availability to open station contacts at that platoon. Recruits are shown as available but greyed and tagged, and the station only counts as crewed when two qualified firefighters are available. Add the callout address to the current job: scan the station printout with the camera, type it, or say it to Siri. Reading a Map Ref aloud works whichever order you say it. Station contacts save with a proper first and last name, and closing a job now signs the Gartan timesheet off properly. ### 3.3.0 — 2026-08-27 Respond from the car and by voice. - CarPlay: see the current job, tap On the way / Delayed / Very delayed (tap again to clear), and see who else is coming with their ETA to the station. - Siri: "Send a message to Fire and Rescue saying on my way" — hands-free response, with a guide in Settings. - Tanker Docs: manuals now read as native pages with sharper figures, pinch-to-zoom, and phone-fit tables. - Appearance setting: keep the app light or dark regardless of the phone setting. - Version history in Settings. ### 3.0.0 — 2026-08-15 Attendance on every job: History now shows who attended each callout from Gartan timesheets and who responded in the app, with jobs colour-coded by type. Tap a person on the Attendance report for a pie-chart breakdown of their attendance record. The availability list now shows when each available member comes off duty. The tanker duty rotation now follows the Gartan display order exactly, and stays stable when availability bookings end. ### 2.7.0 — 2026-08-12 Tanker duty: the app now tracks who holds tanker duty each month. The duty rotates through the brigade in Gartan order and rolls to the next member automatically at the start of each month. See the current holder on the Availability tab. Tap through to pass the month on, hand the duty to someone temporarily (they can hand it back), or reassign it — every change asks for confirmation first. Opt out of tanker duties in Settings if you don't participate; the rotation skips you until you opt back in.
