### 4/5 — Good app, works; but needs porting to latest iOS

### 5/5 — Like

### 5/5 — Very useful app

*2026-06-07*

Easy to use and full of useful tools and options for the ambitional photograph who does not want to make only automatic snapshots with his camera.

### 5/5 — Superb photographic calculator

*2026-01-13*

Most photographers know that a wide open aperture is one of the things (along with focal length and camera-to-subject distance) that reduces depth-of-field. And that this can be used for creative effect. This handy calculator lets you explore the effects with different lenses and cameras.

But did you know that diffraction effects at small f/stops significantly reduce the effective resolution of your high megapixel sensor?

This is brilliant app from David Quiles really helps hone and fine-tune your understanding of the way your lens(es) and film or digital sensor(s) turn light into images.

Bravo David.

PS: I wish the lenses and cameras could be resorted in the lists. I don’t necessarily want a new entry to appear at the bottom of the list!

### 5/5 — Awesome Tool !

### 5/5 — Few years later and still love it!

*2021-05-21*

Well made and very useful.

### 5/5 — Semplicemente stupenda!

*2019-09-20, version 2.2*

### 5/5 — Great App

*2019-07-24*

I’m relatively new to photography so this app has been a life saver and a learning tool. I highly recommend it to anyone trying to take the best picture they can.
