Non commentary race
Just watched the “race in 30” for the first time since the last update and wow it was nice to hear the uninterrupted sound of a GP. Radio chat and commentary should be optional
Broken International Audio
Devs broke the international audio when casting to a TV - you can only choose English and so don’t have the casters we’ve been listing to for YEARS (Crofty!)
Shows someone doesn’t know their customer.
Workaround might be to turn off the Multiview in the app settings.
When this goes to AppleTV completely I’ll be blaming Apple and F1 both for this massive miss - the normal announcers are nowhere near as good and multiple generations have been listening to Crofty and Brundle for decades.
Again huge huge huge miss here when the announcers are 50%+ of the content.

Does not grant access to watching any races because f1 sold out streaming to apple for all US customers
Worst streaming app
I love F1 but my god this app is awful. Even on a great wifi you will loose connection, whether you are watching a replay or live. If you do loose connection the app will restart you at a random point of the race, even ahead of where you stopped. If you were to start a session half way through the live and asked to “watch from the start” be ready to be fully spoiled as it will just go live.
For the price of the subscription the app is ridiculously bad at the only thing it’s supposed to do. A real shame that with the money F1 makes they can’t propose a half decent streaming platform.
Oh also they keep removing my negative reviews. This is the third time I have to write this.

Good but not 5 star
Obviously great to be able to take f1 on the go and watch it anywhere. But the fact that there is no picture-in-picture mode means you can’t just listen in on the sessions and need your device open at all times. Aswell as the fact you can’t customize your screen to your liking and are forced to only pick from one live point of view is kinda deceiving for the price you pay for the best subscription package.

The app occasionally needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled to make the app work.
AppleTV x F1TV
Im American so I watch with AppleTv, but then I want to also watch F2 and F3. Little do I know, I spend at lest a week trying to connect it and it doesn’t work. I restored my purchases, sign out and in, in a browser, offload it, delete the tab, try multiple times, and yet it hasn’t work. Even asked AI for help because i’m that desperate. Please, SEE this and help me with it. Thank You if you do.

DITCH APPLE
WORST collaboration in the history of motorsport broadcasting. Apple has brought nothing but headaches and up-charges for the same features that no longer work as well! I am grateful to keep my F1 subscription, separate from Apple, but if that option goes away... it'll be sayonara
Needs vertical support
Love the app. It seems that the videos are not supported vertically. So you have to turn your phone on its side to watch races.
Worst ever
That was undoubtedly the worst coverage of a F1 race my mates and I (9 of us) have ever seen. Timing needs to show values out to 3-decimal places. The commentators NEVER STOPPED THEIR CONSTANT BLATHER. Do they not realize that the sound of the cars is just as important as the sight of the cars.
At least stop yammering during in-car shots. In order to enjoy the race we turned OFF THE SOUND and followed the race by the timing sidebar.

Great performance and function, missing some key convenience features
Love the app, love being able to switch through different commentaries, on-boards/radio, and track position map. Clean picture and audio.
However, there are a few things that really bother me after years of use…
1 - App does not save audio/video feed preferences (F1 Live vs F1 International - I prefer International commentary most of the time (although Ruth is great…), and the app is always defaulted to the F1TV feed… never keeps the setting.
2 - closed caption preferences not saved either between sessions.
3 - App “loses” its memory of what I was last watching, so I have to start all over each time. For example, I have been watching some Archived shows recently and if I switch out of the app to say, Gmail, when I switch back to F1TV, it is like I was never watching the old races… I have to “start from the beginning “ every time and navigate through the menus until. I find the race I was watching again (and there aren’t any visual cues for history tracking either…
All very frustrating “amnesia” by the app.

Buffering is new this season
Since Apple took over, I’ve experienced buffering while watching recordings of the events. When it was just Formula 1 running the show, things ran smoothly.

Why if watching pre race can it not just flow into showing the race. Instead of having to stop and restart a new program. For the cost the app is not very good. Certainly not F1 level going on. Schedule is not clear to read. Just over all not a great user experience
Terrible app
If you want to watch spoiler free videos, this isnt the place. It recommends videos for you, but lets say you want to watch the sprint race. It recommends qualifying, ao you have to search around and the moment you do, it will show you who won the race
The Best motorsports app ever
This app is the benchmark for all motorsports channels and apps. Yall have gone above and beyond and it’s worth every penny. Thank you
