Iove some of the features like adding multiple screens to watching. If you have apple tv in America you can get f1 tv premium provided by apple tv. This app makes watching so much more fun.

App for racing lovers
The best app for anyone who’s a fan of motor racing and for me this is the sport I started watching since childhood❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Terrible performance on AppleTV
Since version 2.44.0, the video performance has been completely unwatchable on AppleTV. The video will pause for over a second and then will speed forward to try and catch up. Audio becomes completely unsynchronized. Unwatchably distracting. Can’t believe this version was allowed out the door.
Took £60, then told me I can’t watch the content in the Uk
Self explanatory, and when I did want to watch when I visited the Netherlands it refused to work with the TV as it doesn’t allow screen mirroring for whatever reason, along with the screen just going blank whenever screen mirroring does work. F1 is no longer for the fans, the poor and expensive experience on this app and most other networks is why F1 is pirated so much

A Mess since Apple got involved
F1 TV on iPhone has become a mess. The live stream breaks far too often and regularly throws up a “Retry” message. The addition of ads only makes the experience more frustrating. I would honestly rather pay for a dependable service than use a supposedly free one that is unreliable and interrupted. Free streaming is not much of a benefit if the app cannot consistently deliver the race.

Every feature is there but they are all super immature for a company of F1 size
In its most basic form, it does everything you need. but for a company of F1 value you’d expect it to be slick but everything doesnt quite work as well as you’d expect.
For example
- Takes ages, or sometimes just fails, to cast to my TV (it’s not my phone or TV since other apps don’t struggle)
- Takes a long time to buffer a video or if you scrub along the timeline it takes a long time to buffer before playing.
- If I’m starting a session while it’s live and I click ‘watch from start’, waaaay too often it’ll just load it live spoiling the results.
- If I’m watching a session when it’s finished (no longer live) it just starts near the end, spoiling the results. If I’m starting a session that I’ve not watched in the past, at no point in my life have I wanted to start the video showing who’s on the podium.
- If a session is currently live but I’m watching it delayed and live session ends (but I’m still half way though) it just ends and I need to reload the video and scrub back to find where I was before.
F1, you earn enough money, do better.

Please Give Live Race Access in Australia!
This is a great app and I’d love to have love race coverage in Australia. Kayo and other Fox services are and always have been terrible!
Scrolling is a downgrade
They’ve changed the playback controls to make it harder to fast forward, otherwise top quality app and content
Bandwidth is a problem
The app only works fine with a large bandwidth, otherwise the transmission gets interrupted and you get the three dots for few seconds
Ads?!
Why are there ads for F1TV while I’m watching F1TV that also cut off what you’re watching. You miss part of the free show from these pointless ads that weren’t there in the past.

Has F1 changed setting so I can’t watch through tv? This app is trash and I will be canceling my subscription too much money for poor service and streaming at best absolutely trash!
Image and audio
Image freezes on AppleTV every 2 to 3 minutes for a second causing audio to not be in sync.
Great app, horrible video player
The player is so, so bad... imagine just brushing your finger along the screen and the player skips to the podium, spoilng the whole race for you.
The timeline interaction is not just drag but click, which I've never seen ever and is disfunctional for the reasons stated above.
The buffering sucks, making skip 10s. forward very laggy.
And for some reason, it won't remember whete I was in the playback when opening the app back up again an hour later but it will, randomly, remember exactly where I was 3 days later

Terrible
The casting of this app is the absolute worst. I hate having to use it every week. It makes watching F1 a misery. What else do you expect from Saudi Arabia.
Definitely not renewing…
Such a garbage app, overpriced for nothing but issues. Makes it impossible to watch a race especially when you’re traveling. So many hoops to jump through just to get it work. When it finally does work, it’s great, but getting there is such a pain in the a**.
Apple Trash
Why sell out to Apple TV, the app was finally getting good and now you’ve ruined it selling out to Apple. The audio literally comes and goes and the stream quality sucks.
