## What is FA VideoSplitter?

Long videos can go on FamilyAlbum once they are split into 2 minutes or less.

FA VideoSplitter is a free app that splits long family videos, such as sports days, school events, and trips, evenly into segments of 1 to 10 minutes (such as 2 minutes) and saves them to the Photos app.
The free plan of FamilyAlbum only accepts videos up to 2 minutes long, and the split videos can be uploaded as they are.

HOW TO USE
1. Choose a video from your photo library (you can show only videos longer than 2 minutes)
2. Choose a segment length and tap "Start Split" (you can see how many videos you will get before splitting)
3. Upload the videos in the "FA動画分割" album of the Photos app to FamilyAlbum

FEATURES
- Even splits: Choose from 1 to 10 minutes in 1-minute steps. No short leftover segment at the end (for example, a 12:26 video split at 2 minutes becomes 7 videos of about 1:47 each)
- Original quality: Segments are cut from the original video, so the quality stays the same
- Keeps the original date: Segments are saved with the original recording date, so they appear at the right date in the Photos app and in FamilyAlbum
- Original video is kept: Splitting never deletes the original video
- Easy cleanup: Delete all the split videos from the app once they are uploaded
- On-device only: Your videos are never sent to a server
- Free with no ads: No in-app purchases either

PERFECT FOR
- Anyone who can't upload long videos because of FamilyAlbum's 2-minute limit
- Parents who want to share sports day or school event videos with grandparents and family
- FamilyAlbum Premium users (videos up to 10 minutes) who want to split into 10-minute segments
