### 26.8.10 — 2026-08-11

A couple of fixes following up on the new widget in 26.8.9.

- **Fixed a data-migration issue.** On some installs that had tried an early beta of the widget, updating to 26.8.9 could make tasks and reminders appear missing. They were never deleted — this release recovers them automatically the next time you open the app.
- **Fixed the Restore Backup screen.** Backup files could appear greyed out and unselectable when trying to restore from a `.fabe` backup. You can now pick your backup file normally.

### 26.8.9 — 2026-08-09

We gave the home-screen and lock-screen widgets a fresh new look — and made them a lot more useful at a glance.

- See what's coming up. The widget now lists upcoming reminders and tasks, not just what's due today. An empty "All done" no longer hides what's scheduled for tomorrow and beyond.
- Urgency at a glance. Each item shows a colored dot: red for overdue, grey for due today, and black for upcoming — one look tells you what needs attention now.
- A cleaner widget. New brand header, bigger counts, a two-column layout on the medium widget, and a clear "All done" moment when there's truly nothing pending.
- Tap to complete. Mark a task or reminder done right from the widget.
- Reliability fixes around reminder snooze and widget sync.
