It kind of just splotches the color on whatever is in frame. Very limited colors. Maybe around 10 to 15 colors. Colors are all the same despite the brand you select. This eliminates the need for customers like myself to have to compare and contrast between the 500+ sample colors that come in a sample size which is an inconvenience at best. Fable permits me to apply the different color samples onto any structures and/or walls around which is extremely seamless and convenient. The calculation of the paint needed for a specific wall/surface will is a feature aligned with sustainability given it would allow potential painters to gauge the exact amount of paint needed to complete a job. ### 2/5 — Good interface, bad samples *2024-05-17, version 2.0.5* Only gives very basic colour options. You can’t pick your own colours and try them out. It estimates where your wall could be and barely splatters the wall with a colour. And i mean splatter because it can’t see the edges. I tried picking a yellow and the side bar would show yellow when u are selecting the shade but would go back to a grey when u removed ur finger. Only use this if you’re trying to see how “generic red” would look on your walls. ### 2/5 — Eh. *2024-08-23, version 2.0.8* The bar to move between colors is really sensitive and there isn’t a way to look a color up if you know the color you want to try. You should be able to see all the different colors in paint chips not by scrolling on a little bar on the side that is so sensitive I’m skipping colors.
