However the beast is still not there, no chat, no alliances. This way it will not be able to take on the other games out there. The last version was released over a year ago. I really enjoy the different game modes and the colorful characters, I even get to discover fables unknown to me. I have to say I truly enjoy playing it. I do have one issue it keeps freezing up and has to reload while I am in the middle of a battle or trying to gather more cards. I have had this game for three days now and truly hope they can fix this issue. I am going to keep the game on my phone in hopes there is an update to address the freezing and reloading issue. I give props to the developers of this game because it is very fun Thank You David ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — I think the developer tapped out too. *2023-04-14, version 1.8.4* Game was interesting and fun until you hit a brick wall and can’t win a stage, in the tower or arena.30 rerolls and never a team that didn’t out power me by less than 3000. It wouldn’t even be bad but you get no setups and have to try to beat them 2 squares at a time.. Your Skills NEVER EVER CHARGE.. Absolutely unplayable. Also how about letting you play old levels to beef your team up.. you get punished for upgrading skills. Takes forever to charge them.. Loved the game but the more you progress the more irritating and annoying it gets. Absolutely no fun anymore. Nothing to do other than lose battles. Don’t waste your money on quest pass. I’ve actually spent about $200 on things like the stupid wheel of fortune, and I have never ONCE hit something valuable, let alone the jackpot, and I’ve spent about 30,000 gems on the wheel. It’s extremely rare to get a legendary character from any of the pulls as well. They push you to spend your real money so much, and when you do, it’s worthless. Don’t download this game. ### 1/5 — No support from the publisher *2021-09-24* Whatever the positives of this game may be, the biggest drawback is that there is no community support or player help from the publisher. Before you play, do a search for Fable Wars and you will find nothing but links to downloads. Spend your time on a game that helps you understand it and where you get communication from the publisher about where the game is growing instead of this one. ### 1/5 — Bad customer service *2021-06-21* I’ve recently encountered bugs within the game even preventing me from collecting rewards from activities. I’ve raised the issue hoping that developers would rectify the issue and compensate accordingly (not asking for much but at least those rewards that I’m entitled for clearing those missions). The developer came back and advised that the bug was fixed but there was no mention of missed mission rewards (meaning you can’t redo those missions completed and have completely lost the rewards attached to them). I wrote to them again asking for basic compensation due to developer negligence, but was advised saying I’m not entitled to one. So as a paying customer, I’m bidding this game farewell. Ive spent $$ and so much time on the game only to be welcomed by disappointment. I’ve played so many other games and whenever there’s a game bug/issue, the developer will issue some sort of compensation to retain loyal players. ### 1/5 — Hit a wall, game issues, and bad customer service *2021-05-25* This game has wasted potential. You hit a wall of how far you can move up really quickly. I have a bug issue that I can level any of heroes skills anymore but customer service won’t respond/slow to respond. ### 1/5 — Lots of unused potential *2021-04-29* Tried this game for several weeks, kept hoping it would improve. It didn’t. Events are poorly balanced and very random, leaving the player little control over the outcome. Summoning events take months to save up scrolls to get anything of value from a single event. Graphics are average. It appears some players are likely cheating, advancing to higher level arenas with very low strength teams. Tower event are easy early, then so difficult you’ll be on the same level for weeks. Other daily events are nearly as bad, no progress for weeks. No auto play available, which is simply a must have these days and inexcusable. Customer service is always the exact same canned non-answer regardless of concern. You literally hit a progression wall immediately after starting the game, which I never ever experienced in game before. All the events are money grabbing tactics put there to tempt you to spend money.
