### 2/5 — Great app but stopped working - please fix!

*2025-11-10, version 2.4.1*

I love this app and was considering upgrading to the paid option but it’s just stopped working, saying ‘ we’re fixing some things, back soon’ but it’s been like that a while now. Is the app no longer supported? I’ll be so disappointed if so!

### 3/5 — Very needed but glitchy

*2025-11-06, version 2.4.1*

I’m very excited for this app to continue to develop. As someone with ADHD I really need a solid way to organize myself when it comes to friendships and keeping in touch/keeping up with others. Unfortunately many of the pages on this app are slow to load or don’t load at all for me. It’s not bad enough to keep it from being usable, but it’s hard to know how to navigate the app when a number of the pages don’t load on a consistent basis.

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time

*2024-08-27, version 2.4.1*

For such a simple application, there have been no major updates in two years. Find another app, this one isn’t it. There’s a very limited amount of spots for your network.

### 3/5 — I like it, but a few changes I would make!

*2024-06-02, version 2.4.1*

I like it, it’s the best I’ve found so far, but wish there was: -Easy way to see the hobbies friends have in common -A way to set important dates in the past, my sister took a test a week ago and I’d like to have that logged in the app, but there’s no way to add anything that happened in the past -A calendar view, by month, by week, to see what connections I’ve made, maybe color coded by text, call, in person meet up -Also calendar view for future engagements with friends -A simpler way to view a persons profile, like just their birthday, their address, phone number, hobbies, and a list of things to talk about/ -Different connection reminder timers, like I want to text my friend every week, but only hang out every other week

### 1/5 — Buggy, no support

*2024-05-22, version 2.4.1*

I made the mistake of paying for a monthly subscription to use the enchanted version of this app. While the concept is great, the UI is buggy and lacks any kind of support whatsoever. I tried contacting them via their website, support email, Facebook group. The Facebook group never accepted my join request and I never got any response to emails. It must be very nice to make money from an app you don’t bother supporting.

For anyone else in the same position, remember to request a refund from Apple as this counts as a lack of what was promised.

This app could have been amazing and so useful, and yet the developers have left it to moulder. Don’t waste your time or use the free version if you’re desperate.

### 1/5 — App No Longer Maintained?

*2024-03-14, version 2.4.1*

Lost my password, and app won’t generate email to let me update.

A lot of recent reviews say the app isn’t working.

I wonder if they’ve decided to abandon the app?

### 3/5 — Widget does not work for me

*2024-03-13, version 2.4.1*

The widget doesn’t update with my circle information or the shortlist contact. It’s just a static skeletal image of what it should look like if information was there

### 1/5 — Help!

*2024-01-29, version 2.4.1*

I reached out a couple of months ago via email but never got a reply; how do you find your account if your email didn’t work, but your phone number is recognized when you try a new email? Trying to reach you with an app review now. Thanks!

### 1/5 — Can’t even start the app

*2023-12-22, version 2.4.1*

I have been stuck at the account creation and cannot get past it. I have submitted my name and correct phone number multiple times, hit resend, and nothing works. I just never receive the first code to start my account.

### 1/5 — It’s giving scam

*2023-12-18, version 2.4.1*

It wouldn’t let me into it after signing up without using the free trial and when it finally did it would send messages like send them a photo but there’s no way to do that on the app it’s not worth the time to download it

### 2/5 — Not receiving verification code to create account

*2023-12-12, version 2.4.1*

This looks like a great app but I have been unable to create an account because when I try, it asks me to enter a 6-digit verification sent to my phone number which never arrives. (I have triple checked that my phone benumbed is correct). There also is not email or link for support so posting here in hopes the team will be able to assist. Will update this review if there is a response!

### 3/5 — Good so far

*2023-12-01, version 2.4.1*

It’s just annoying how you can’t hit the “X” button at the top right to get out of certain screens. You have to close the whole app to get back to your Home Screen -_-

### 1/5 — Can’t even create an account

*2023-11-13, version 2.4.1*

Tried to sign up but I never get a verification code via text, even after resending the code several times. Download the ‘Kinship’ app instead

### 1/5 — Tried to use it

*2023-11-13, version 2.4.1*

2 factor authentication wasn’t working, tried over and over again to get a text to sign in for the first time and it just wasn’t sending one

### 1/5 — Not getting verification code to login!

*2023-11-12, version 2.4.0*

I logged out and then tried to login but I am not getting the verification code text! I tried submitting help request to tech support but never got an answer. I had a paid subscription so this is not acceptable!

### 1/5 — Simply doesn’t work

*2023-11-11, version 2.4.0*

I was all excited to try this out. First thing you need to do is add your phone number to set up an account. To finish this process, you must enter a verification code they text to you. However, the text never comes.

There’s no other option for setting up an account, for example email; it must be done with your phone. And they never text you, so there’s nothing you can do. You simply aren’t able to use the app.

### 1/5 — Would give this 0 stars if I could

*2023-09-08, version 2.4.0*

The app itself and concept is great - when it works! Some terrible bugs in the app which make it useless and the developer support is non-existent (I’ve tried every way to contact them online that I can, including trying the official ‘app support’ button which redirects to a website without a valid certificate, and still had no response). After turning off notifications for a period of time, I now can’t get them back on, which is the most important function of the app for me. So not only have I paid for an annual subscription and wasted HOURS of time trying to get the issue resolved, but I now have a useless app which I was relying on to help me with an issue related to my disability. I now have the extra work of having to migrate all the content and planning work I’d put into getting set up on the app to something else that can help me (and first finding something else that will help me with this issue), plus lost out on the subscription fee I’ve paid. If I had known how much time/money/energy this app would waste, I would have gone straight to another solution first.

Don’t get me wrong, if this worked as it should, it would solve the problem I have completely and I’d gladly pay for it for as long as I use it. But it doesn’t and there’s no way to get help to fix it, so don’t waste your money.

### 1/5 — Not working anoymore

*2023-08-27, version 2.4.0*

Support won’t get back to me. The messages widget is the best part and it’s broken now. Time to move on.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Loved it…till it broke! App will not start up

*2025-11-14, version 2.4.1*

I loved the app because it was needed so much that I even paid for it and then it stopped working properly… so I uninstalled and reinstalled it and can’t even log in now.
It’s been more than two weeks since I couldn’t use it “because they are fixing things” and there is no way to get in contact with a developer. I’m very disappointed!

### 1/5 — Locked out for over 2 weeks for maintenance

*2025-11-05, version 2.4.1*

Every time I open the app for the past 2 weeks I've had the error message - when is this supposed to be over? I'm glad I'm not paying.

### 1/5 — “Fixing things - check back soon”

*2025-11-01, version 2.4.1*

I love the app but every time I’ve opened it for the past few weeks nothing loads except a message that says “We’re fixing some things. Check back soon.” There have been no updates for a year so I have little faith that anything’s happening.

### 1/5 — Broken?

*2025-10-30, version 2.4.1*

Please come back. Fix this app. As many have said it’s a great simple way to maintain friendships

### 1/5 — Stopped Working

*2025-10-28, version 2.4.1*

I used this app and it helped me keep track of my relationships and over the last week it stopped working. Started deleting my contacts, not opening up, becoming completely dysfunctional and I can’t find any support for the app.

### 1/5 — Poor privacy, unresponsive developer, and abandonware

*2025-06-09, version 2.4.1*

I dumped this app due to the cost and the fact that they’re tracking EVERYTHING. If an app doesn’t respect my privacy, then I don’t buy no matter how helpful it might be. Change this and reduce the price (which is absolutely ridiculous considering how specific and one-dimensional the app is), and I’ll reconsider.

### 1/5 — Issues with app

*2025-04-15, version 2.4.1*

App won’t send code to phone number to validate account.

### 1/5 — Purchase of upgraded package

*2025-03-14, version 2.4.1*

Beware of purchasing the upgrade. I purchased the upgraded package of up to 150 people can be added to your circle and it still remains at only allowing 30. I have tried to contact them through email but they haven't answered 'me.

### 1/5 — Wish I could try

*2024-12-14, version 2.4.1*

I wish I could try this app because it seems like an amazing tool, however I can even get past the sign up page. I put my number in several times but still am not getting a verification code to sign up for the app. Seems buggy which is disappointing.

### 1/5 — Bugs, No support, No updates in 10 months

*2024-10-04, version 2.4.1*

I’ve experienced a bug for over a year where my account won’t synchronize, and the app never successfully sends a text code to my phone to verify my account. Additionally, the widget fails to display any data - just empty circles. I sent a message to their help email over a year ago with no response. It’s unfortunate because I really benefitted from this app until it stopped working.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Exactly what I need

*2026-08-17, version 2.4.6*

I got this app during Covid and it continues to be exactly what I need as my life changes, people move away, and I try to maintain the relationships I value. I love the reminders and notes features, and it’s always interesting to see how my circles change over time.

### 5/5 — Awesome app

*2024-06-25, version 2.4.1*

Does what’s on the tin. Helps me keep in contact with my loved ones better. Great looking/functioning app

### 5/5 — Apparently I do have friends

*2023-06-28, version 2.3.9*

I have been hard on myself for lack of close friends. So I have been working in being intentional on building friendships. This app reminds me I have more people in my life than I think and helps gives me options on who I should connect with.

One thing I’d liked though is the ability to customize and add or remove circles. For example I have connections through different hobbies I have and sometimes I’d like to filter who I connect with based on that hobby. So for example one of those the hobbies I have is rock climbing and I’m trying to build connections in that category so I might want to quick find people to connect with based on that hobby.

I will often meet people in circles like this without getting contact information right away but would like to make notes for future interactions. Of course this is coming from someone that has plenty of room for extended circles but not many close friends(yet)

### 5/5 — Stay on top of what really matters

*2023-03-30, version 2.3.9*

I love the app. It’s exactly what I had been looking for, and I was this close to making something myself like this (but I’m an accountant, so my mind had immediately had gone to an Excel-based solution.) Thankfully I thought to look for something like Fabriq first, and it was a perfect fit!

The recent update seems to have munged the ability to add details to interactions, though. The sheet doesn’t pop up after I select an interaction on a friend’s page.

### 5/5 — Improved my relationships

*2023-02-20, version 2.3.8*

This app is exactly what I needed to improve the quality of my relationships. For whatever reason, my mind naturally operates on an “out of sight, out of mind” basis when it comes to people. I can accidentally go weeks or months without reaching out to people in my life whom I care deeply about. This app has helped me keep my friendships alive and thriving.

### 5/5 — Build intentional relationships

*2021-10-05*

I started using Fabriq during the pandemic to encourage me to get out of my isolation. It is exactly what I needed and easy to use with all the features I could ask for. I like that you can take notes and keep track of gift ideas. Especially valuable to me is the analytics of number of days between connections and how many times I’ve reached out to other people this month. That helps me set goals and be mindful of how much time passes between talking to someone. It always amazes me how quickly the time goes! An added bonus for me is that, when I feel alone or don’t know who to reach out to, I can go to the app and be reminded of all the important people I have in my life. I highly recommend Fabriq to anyone looking to build intentional, meaningful relationships.

**Developer response:** Hey AnnMarie! We're thrilled Fabriq has been such a great tool in your tool belt! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. :)

### 5/5 — Really helpful app!

*2021-03-15, version 2.0.12*

I’ve been using this app for a couple months now, they recently had a redesign and I absolutely love it!

The new version is much more clean and to the point. When I open the app all I want to see clearly if who I’m contacting today with any notes, and that’s what it does.

I looked into 4/5 other similar apps for keeping track of my personal contacts and this one was by far the simplest and best for me. I love that it shows me about two people to reach out to per day max. It’s excellent really.

I currently use the free version (for under 30 contacts). I’d like to add more but £5, price similar to a Netflix subscription, seems a little excessive for an app that sends reminders.

I love that it gives some conversation starters and that you can take notes after each interaction with a contact. I can currently link/integrate with iMessage - I would love to see it link to WhatsApp, that would be useful as most people here in the U.K. use WhatsApp for messaging!

Overall it’s a great app, I’m really happy with it and will enjoy using it for tracking my connections.

### 5/5 — Neat idea for an app, but £5/month? For a reminder?

*2021-02-11, version 1.25.2*

EDIT: I have since used this app and increased its rating. It’s very well thought out and has genuinely helped nudge me to keep in touch with friends, without being annoying. A talented team is putting a lot of thought into this and I’d recommend it.

(Original review below)

The idea is neat, the execution slick and feels easy but has succumbed to the subscription model.

Shortly after entering all of my data I was prompted to ‘view a plan’.
5 stars for design, 2 for value

*plan is free if you stay under 30 connections

Developers - if you want to be more scalable then I’d suggest you make it more reasonably priced? If the outer/extended ring is a once a month reminder, the users will have used it maybe once before they are asked to pay.
Just for comparison, Netflix is just a few quid more...

### 5/5 — Wonderful support networking app

*2021-02-09, version 1.24.2*

I am getting really into the app. After the last year of chaos, we are all kind of picking up the pieces of what's left of our social lives. And Fabriq is helping mitigate the emotional wreckage and establish a way to move forward.

### 5/5 — Best app for your social well-being!

*2020-12-04, version 1.19.2*

Love the concept and execution. Only hard part is finding the time to do as much following up as I’d like.
