You can get very interesting, good sounding results which will add a certain flavor. But it’s all far away from subtle. If you’re looking for something gentle or transparent you might want to look somewhere else. It also adds around 5ms of latency (measured with 96khz/64 samples on the M4) to the signal which makes it rather difficult to use in a live performance. I guess it’s because of the lookahead which can’t be adjusted or turned off. But other solutions achieve similar or better results with less latency.

This does exactly what I was looking for and couldn’t find in any other app. Multiple types of grungy distorted compression - YES! It sounds great! Love it! Thanks Fred!

PS - I don’t see how anyone could rate this one star! 🤡
