I’m a huge Apple fan and collector and I know a lot about the company, it’s history, and it’s products. I’m a passionate fan and have been for a long time. As one who wants to visit every Apple Store in the states, this app will come in handy and especially since I also keep track of which stores I visit how many times and when I visit along with why. ### 5/5 — What a cool idea *2023-07-07, version 1.2* The app is friendly, intuitive, and informative. It also fills a very niche market similar to the old “ifo Apple Store” blog. You can indicate your first, and follow-up, visit, make notes about the store, designs and features, milestones, and even get to the store’s official Apple page. ### 5/5 — History Simplified *2023-07-04, version 1.2* This app is awesome. If you follow Apple retail history and design. This is a must have for any Apple retail store appreciators. Makes the search and design languages all easy to understand and read. Only though there was two designs classic and 2.0. I was wrong. Using it has only made me happier. For such an incredibly niche audience and use case, there is an amazing amount of care and passion poured into Facades; embracing iOS UX guidelines while full of thoughtful touches that evoke the golden age of indie app design. It’s a shame they didn’t find somebody else to take this over, but that means for now it’s abandoned. ### 4/5 — Nice app but…. *2022-11-14, version 1.0* This is a nice app but please include a search feature so you can look up an specific store without having to go thru every store. It would be nice if we could see a zoomable/clickable map of all the Apple Stores in the U.S. and in the world. It would be great if the Design Style sections included a brief explainer at the top to describe each style. In the Store Data section, I'd love to be able to click on the bars in each graph and open up the matching stores. Lastly, I'd love a few more photos of each store and an entry of notes/cool facts on what makes each store unique. Was this store the first with a wood ceiling, or the first with a glass staircase? Was this store the largest Apple Store in the world for a period of time? Was this store the first to open in Europe? Anyways, stellar work on this! The last store added was del amo that opened in Sept 2024 and I know more stores have opened since then.
