## What is Face it?

Face it: follow through, don't avoid.

Face it is self-help training for people with panic attacks and anxiety. Every day you practice one small confrontation with exactly the situations you avoid: the train, the supermarket, meeting people. Panic help is always free. Face it does not replace therapy.

Fear doesn't shrink when you run from it. It shrinks when you stay and check what really happens. That's exactly what Face it trains you to do, one step a day.

How Face it works:
• Panic help, always free: don't run, name your fear, stay two minutes, check what really happened
• Your daily session (5 to 10 minutes): check-in, one short lesson, one confrontation from your fear ladder
• Expectation check: Before every confrontation you write down what you fear most. Afterwards you see in black and white whether it happened. Your evidence adds up
• Your fear ladder: five rungs from "barely uncomfortable" to "the thing you really avoid," built around your fear together with your coach. If a rung doesn't fit your life, you say so and get one that does
• Your avoidance level (0 to 10): it only drops when you move
• Fixed appointment: you pick the time for your next session, and Face it reminds you of your next step
• 28 short lessons on fear, panic in the body, avoidance and confrontation. Honest instead of soothing
• Videos from Sergej, the founder: why calming feeds fear, what happens before your first confrontation, and "coach in your pocket" for moments like "I want to cancel" or "Is this really just anxiety?"
• Your coach in the chat: knows your ladder, your evidence and your appointment, asks questions and steers you to the next step instead of reassuring you

Who is Face it for?
For people with panic attacks, social anxiety, fear of exams, presentations, driving, crowds or confined spaces. In short: for anyone who notices that avoiding makes their life smaller.

What makes Face it different:
Most apps want to calm you down. Face it gets you moving. The method behind it is confrontation in small steps, the approach behavioral therapy has used for decades. Face it isn't therapy and doesn't replace it, but it makes sure you take one step every day.

Subscription:
Panic help and the first two days are free. The full plan: try it free for 3 days, then choose a monthly or yearly subscription. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings.

Face it is an app that keeps me accountable when I want to procrastinate. The fear-facing challenges are practical and encouraging. ### 5/5 — A Powerful Push to Face My Fears

*2026-02-20*

Face it is an app that truly helps you confront your fears and stop procrastinating. The exercises are simple but effective, and the reminders keep me accountable. I’ve started tackling tasks I used to avoid for weeks. It feels empowering to finally take action instead of overthinking. Highly recọmmend for anyone who struggles with avoidance.

### 5/5 — Felt like it knew me.

*2025-08-06*

It was weirdly accurate. I’ve been dealing with anxiety and feeling stuck, and it said something like “you’re not waiting to feel ready, you’re avoiding discọmfort.” I actually teared up. That line stayed with me all day.

### 5/5 — It actually helped me do stuff.

*2025-08-05*

I usually don’t leave reviews, but this one deserves it. I’ve been stuck for months and tried everything – this app kind of snapped me out of it. It’s harsh, yeah. But somehow it worked.

### 5/5 — Actually changed my life. No cap.

*2025-08-05*

I’ve tried like… everything. This app is the first thing that didn’t try to be my emotional support hamster. It just told me the truth. Brutally. Repeatedly. And guess what? I needed that. I’m not even mad. I’m just… moving again.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 3.1 — 2026-09-25

Face it 3.1: confront instead of calm, now with Sergej.
• New panic help: don't run, name your fear, stay two minutes, check what really happened. Always free.
• Before every confrontation you write down what you fear most. Afterwards you see in black and white whether it happened. Your evidence adds up.
• Day 2 becomes a fixed appointment: you pick the time, Face it reminds you of your next step.
• Videos from Sergej, the founder: why calming feeds fear, what happens before your first confrontation, and "coach in your pocket" for eight situations like "I want to cancel" or "Is this really just anxiety?".
• The coach no longer reassures you in a loop but steers you to the next step.
• The first two days are free. New lessons about panic in the body and why breathing alone is not enough.

### 3.0.2 — 2026-09-16

Two free days instead of one: you can now do your second session before deciding. The start screen asks about the subscription only once a day. If a rung of your fear ladder doesn't fit your life, tell the app why in one line and get one that does. The evening reminder now names your actual confrontation.

### 3.0.1 — 2026-07-26

Important fix for subscribers: a bug wrongly showed the paywall to Premium users at app start. Fixed. Your subscription is now recognized instantly, even offline. Also new: a clearer Premium screen that shows exactly what you get.

Face it! 2.0: our biggest update yet.

• New: your daily session. Check-in, one short lesson, one confrontation. 5 to 10 minutes a day.
