The price is extremely reasonable for this kind of app. One time purchase of a dollar can’t be beat. I was looking for an app that would record face cam while also recording an on screen video simultaneously. This app does not do that. Instead, it allows you to screen record. Then when you open your recording, it starts the editor - where you can add face cam recording, voice recording, and filters. All of this works really well. My only real issue is that I would like the ability to record face and screen at the same time. This app, as is, would be perfect for someone who wants to add narration after recording their screen. Hoping these features will be upgraded soon. Update: this app now does everything that I previously mentioned. It’s awesome!

I was actually looking for an app that would record face cam while also recording an on screen video simultaneously. This app does not do that. Instead, it allows you to screen record. Then when you open your recording, it starts the editor - where you can add face cam recording, voice recording, and filters. All of this works really well. My only real issue is that it does not seem to allow you to record face cam first. That’s what would make more sense for doing reaction videos, if you can’t record face and screen at the same time. This app, as is, would be perfect for someone who wants to add narration after recording their screen. I am hoping these features will be upgraded soon, because adding the ability to record face and screen together would make it perfect.

• Transitions — Dissolve, Zoom, Whip and Glitch join Crossfade. Tap the join between two clips, pick one, and it plays right away so you can see it before you keep it.

• Transitions — tap the join between two clips and choose None or Crossfade. Choosing one takes you straight to it, so you can play it back and decide.
• Now in French and Italian. German, Hindi and Arabic are fully translated on every screen.
• Text and subtitles always stay on top — a face cam or a sticker can no longer cover them.
• Your video's sound drops lower under your voice, so a face cam or commentary comes through clearly.

• Alignment grid — anything you drag or resize clicks onto the thirds and the centre, with a small vibration to confirm it. Switch it off whenever you like.
• Quick settings while you edit — countdown, video sound and the grid, without leaving your project.
• Tap the video to pick the clip you are looking at, and playback now stops at the end of the clip you are working on.
• A blurred face cam background continues your own video behind the frame instead of leaving a gap.

• Video from the rear camera came out rotated sideways, with half the picture cropped away.
• Playback could stick on a frame or jump while you dragged along the timeline.
• Framing changes only appeared once you pressed play.
• Handles were visible but impossible to grab once a layer had been rotated or sat against the edge.
• The preview now crops the picture exactly where the exported video crops it.
• The play and pause button is far easier to tap.
