My friend sent this invite to me so I clicked it, thinking it would be fun. Instead, I had to go through a not so fun long process to even get in the app and then it started sending me countless texts saying my friends had photos to share. Also, 99% of the time I couldn’t share photos of me to my friends because they weren’t on the request thing!! If I could describe this app in two words, it’d be “annoying” and “confusing”. Stay safe!

if i could get this app banned, i would. the cycle starts at one of your friends downloading the app because it says “so and so sent 26 photos on faceout! download the app to see what photos!” so naturally you download it to see what photos. then it asks for access to your contacts so it can see what photos everyone has on their phone. after it accesses your contacts its game over, as it’s already sent a message to EVERYONE saying YOU are sending photos of them. now the cycle repeats and repeats.

For your own sanity and that of your family, friends and phone contacts DO NOT DOWNLOAD this app! As soon as you allow permission to access your phone this app will start spamming all your contacts stating that YOU have shared photos of them on Faceout and prompt them to download the app to see what photos of you are shared. This is done even if you do not share a single photo. It’s complete mis-information, lies, and abuse. This app should be banned. Do yourself and your contacts a favor and avoid this app like the plague.

This app right when I did, I thought it was gonna be very stressful because all the ads I got, but when I tried it, it was worse. I didn’t choose anyone to share my photos with you, but then I started sharing with my brother my mom and all my friends and it looked through all my photos and this is not a secure app. Do not get the app. It started giving everyone notifications. I would like to share photos so I deleted the app two minutes later my brother texted me what is this app? That’s trying to send photos of you to me so this app is not secure. I hate this app and it’s still trying to share photos with people when I deleted it.

Dear Face Out Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my concerns about the app, as I find it quite creepy. It has been taking my photos and notifying others, including my mom, that I’m sharing their photos, which is not true. This has caused me a lot of fear and confusion.

Even after deleting the app, it seems that this issue has spread to most of my family and friends, as they are also receiving these misleading messages. This situation feels very unsettling, and I am deeply concerned about my privacy.

I would greatly appreciate any clarification on how my data is being used and what measures are in place to protect user privacy.

I got this app like a few months ago and I deleted it right after and now all of my friends are getting text saying that I’m sharing photos of them on the app when I’m not and I haven’t use the app ever and it’s sending it to people all in my contacts and it’s very creepy because it looks through your photos and I don’t feel comfortable with that description. It says that it doesn’t look through your photos and it believes that privacy is a human right that is clearly wrong so yeah please delete this app.

I didn’t like the fact that this app automatically send a text out to people if you fix it then maybe I’ll re-download it personally I hated the app and I hate the fact that to see or to do anything you have to pay. It’s like everything you have to pay for now this app is horrible.

This app locked my phone up. I couldn’t even reset my phone. At first I thought it was something else but when I tried opening the app again, it locked my phone again. I laid $5.99 for something that made my phone unusable until my battery died which it did make happened quickly.

I got an invite from one of my friends to use the app, so i downloaded it. After allowing it to see all my photos it told me to recommend it to friends when i tried to back out i learned that it sent an invite to every. single. one. of my contacts. that was enough for me to never use the app again so i deleted it and even after being deleted a couple hours later it sent out a SECOND message!!!

I hate this app please don’t get it, right as you get it, it sends out a message to all friends and family that you have in your contacts that you are sharing photos of them but you really aren’t please don’t get this app 👎🏻😞☠️

This app sent everyone in my contact list a random message.

I have the number of parents of the kids I babysit and my phone was blowing up cause everyone was confused. I feel absolutely mortified right now and fuming cause of this app. I immediately deleted it cause of how terrible it is. Developer, do not bother replying to this cause not once for the rest of my life am I ever going to THINK about this app. So yeah, it’s pretty terrible and I’m regretting downloading this app and wish I never did. I’ve had to explain to DYING family members why the heck they got a dumb link to something their never going to need. Anyone reading this comment DO NOT download this app. I feel terrible and I wish I could crumble up in a hole and die right now.
