## What is Facing Pages?

Learn Spanish, French or English by reading real stories, with your own language on the facing page.

Facing Pages opens like a book: the story in the language you're learning on one page, the same story in your language on the other, matched sentence by sentence. Tap any sentence and its partner lights up across the page. Tap a word to see what it means right there, and save it for later.

MADE FOR IPHONE DUO
Open your iPhone Duo and the two languages sit side by side like a book, with each story's photograph running across the fold. Close it and keep reading on the cover screen. On iPad, every story is a two-page spread. On any iPhone, tap a sentence to see its translation.

228 ORIGINAL STORIES, AND COUNTING
• Spanish, French and English, from beginner to advanced
• Series you read episode by episode, each ending on a hook
• Set in real places: Cartagena, Mexico City, Paris, Provence, Quebec and many more
• A photograph with every story
• New stories added regularly

LEARN AS YOU READ
• Tap a word for what it means in that sentence, not just a dictionary guess
• Save words to your own list
• Listen: every sentence read aloud and highlighted as it goes
• Bookmarks, and it remembers where you stopped
• A warm night mode for reading in bed

YOUR LANGUAGE ON THE FACING PAGE
Spanish and French stories come with our own English translations. You can also read them beside about 20 other languages, translated right on your device by Apple: private, and offline once the language is downloaded.

FREE TO START
The first episode of every series and a selection of stories at every level are free. Facing Pages Premium unlocks every story.
