Thank you very much for your feedback! With the upcoming update the app will be much better!
It works well

Thank you very much for your feedback! Yeah, there were some problems with the algorithm we had to fix. Next week we will release an update with some good changes. Decimals will be supported too. Kind regards
Bad

This app only provides results when there is a real solution. No "real" solution means that the result would be a complex number. Complex numbers are not supported because there would be an infinite amount of results. Another limitation is that the result for "B" and "D" are calculated as integers. Otherwise there would be an infinite amount of incomprehensible results. For a better understanding how the app works try the predefined input example from the history function. To show that the predefined input example is not a hacky fake, here are some more possible inputs that lead to a result: a = 8; b = 2; c = -3 a = 1; b = 2; c = 1 a = 1; b = -3; c = -10 But Factoring Quadratic Trinomials follows a self-invented algorithm that usually is not part of common school lectures. Maybe factoring by AC method might be more useful to you: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/id1500086077 Good luck!
