Thank you so much for this simple mood lighting app without unwanted permissions and additional unnecessary features. This is the exact app this adult needs for relaxation and sleep. 

Just bright enough to illuminate a small room with a timer and dimmer so it doesn't drain the battery and aids with sleep. Three wonderful options with either a steady light for nervous littles or soothing patterns for nervous adults.

Great app. Does exactly what it says. I needed a visual cue for my LOs to stop talking in bed. Didn’t want a noise in case they were asleep (yeah right!). This ticks all the boxes. Screen off function works as described. 

I hope there are some other screens that come out (the water one is a favourite).

**Developer response:** Hi, thanks for the review. You need to go into system settings -> Display & Brightness and set Auto-Lock to something other than never. If you set it to 30 seconds, for example, the screen should turn off 30 seconds after the timer finishes. The way Fade Out Night Light is able to turn off the screen is essentially by disabling AutoLock while the timer is running.

I too heard about this on the parenting hell podcast and realised immediately how helpful it would be! Not only for my baby but also my 8 year old who is quite wary of the dark. Really helpful for travelling, such a simple yet genius idea. Thank you!

Heard a out this on Parenting Hell podcast and thought this would be great for my bed bound dad as he hates turning out the light and walking back to the bed..then phaff around trying to find things, so this gives him light and time to settle without forgetting to turn off a lamp!

I needed a portable nightlight to use instead of my flashlight (which ran down my battery). This app lets you set a timer which eventually allows the phone to lock. Simple and easy to use.
