## What is Fahimna?

Fahimna helps you actually understand the Quran — word by word, at your own pace.

READ & LISTEN — FREE FOREVER
• The complete Quran with word-by-word translations under every word
• Four reading layouts: word-by-word, sentence, mushaf, and verse-by-verse
• 12+ reciters with gapless audio — tap any word to play from exactly there
• Translations and tafsir in multiple languages, with footnotes

LEARN AS YOU READ
• Mark words as Learning or Known — translations fade as you learn, until you read pure Arabic
• Tap any word for its meaning, grammar analysis (i'raab), conjugation tables, root family, and every occurrence in the Quran
• Two modes, one tap apart: Reading shows every translation, Learning hides what you already know

REMEMBER WITH SMART REVIEWS
• Spaced-repetition flashcards built automatically from the words you mark
• Reviews scheduled just before you would forget
• Daily goals, streaks, and home-screen widgets keep the habit alive

WATCH YOUR UNDERSTANDING GROW
• See what percentage of the Quran you understand — live, as you learn
• Track known words, learning words, and your daily activity over time

FREE AND PREMIUM
Reading, recitation, translations, tafsir, grammar, and reviews are free — the Quran is not ours to sell. The free plan includes marking your first 50 words. Fahimna Premium unlocks unlimited word marking and keeps the app running for every learner. If you genuinely can't afford it, request free access from inside the app — no questions asked.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.0.4 — 2026-09-26

A smoother start.

• Fixed an issue where new users on iOS 26 couldn't get past the language screen.
• Surah names on the home screen no longer appear cut off.
• You can now swipe back to earlier slides in the welcome tutorial.
• On iPad, opening the menu no longer rotates the app out of landscape.
• Flashcards now count "learning words" instead of "lemmas".

### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-20

The printed page, on your phone.

• Mushaf Page — the Madinah print, line for line, in the page's own calligraphy. Turn on word meanings to read them underneath without losing the layout.
• One Verse at a Time — a single ayah on screen. Tap to play, double-tap to reveal, swipe to mark what you know.
• Four ways to read, all switched from one place: word by word, verse and translation, the printed page, or Arabic only.
• Long surahs open faster, and pages no longer wait on every line before they appear.
• Tapping one ayah starts its audio almost at once, instead of loading the whole surah first.
• Chapter names and word meanings now in more languages.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-01

Understanding checks, in your own words.

• AI check — say or type what you think an ayah means, and get it graded word by word, in any of nine languages. Free to try; included with Premium.
• Testing mode — hide the translation, listen, reveal, and grade yourself.
• Clearer pricing — one Premium plan, monthly or yearly. The Quran itself stays free, always.
• Reminders that stay quiet on days you have already finished.
• A rebuilt walkthrough showing how words become flashcards, and how they graduate.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-01
