## What is Fahren?

Never miss a critical alarm again.

Fahren delivers real-time sensor data and instant alerts straight to your phone. Protect wine cellars, server rooms, greenhouses, freezers, lift stations and more.

- Dry contact monitoring for alarm panels, float switches and sump pumps
- Waterproof probe sensors for freezers (-55°C to +125°C)
- Push, SMS, and escalating phone calls until someone answers
- On-call schedules so alerts reach whoever is working
- Full-screen alarm with siren, and one-tap acknowledge across all your devices
- High/low thresholds with duration-based triggers
- Disconnection alerts when a sensor goes quiet
- Trend charts, history, and scheduled PDF reports by email
- Invite team members or share via QR code

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.6 — 2026-09-27

Alert styles, per sensor. A sewage float can scream while the shop doorbell just chimes, or a door sensor can simply tell you it opened and clear itself.

Your own alarm sound for each sensor, set on your own phone. What you choose does not change anybody else's.

Trigger sensitivity per sensor, so a momentary button press still holds the alarm until somebody acknowledges it.

"Not me" — hand an alarm to the next person on the call list without acknowledging it. It comes back to you in five minutes if nobody takes it.

Acknowledge from your watch, and the alarm stops on your phone too.

The app now opens on a lighter look.

Fixes: one notification per alarm instead of one for every reminder, a sensor that has gone quiet no longer reads as fully offline, and signing out stops alarms being sent to that phone.

### 1.2.5 — 2026-09-22

- "Not me" button — hand an alarm to the next contact without acknowledging it; comes back to you in 5 minutes if nobody takes it
- Apple Watch — acknowledge or pass an alarm from the wrist
- Pressing 1 on the voice call now silences every other device, not just the phone
- Alarm notifications no longer linger after you acknowledge
- WiFi signal badge on dashboard tiles — green when strong, red when weak, greyed with a slash when the sensor is offline
- Metric buttons on the sensor detail screen now drive that sensor's dashboard tile — sparkline and scrolling readouts. Per sensor, per user, so your choices don't change Danny's
- Relay control fixes, and a new watch app icon

### 1.2.4 — 2026-09-19

- Sensor name and status lamp moved to the top of the tile; chart is larger in both directions
- Readings roll one at a time with a caption above each value, so you always see a complete reading
- Alarm history now shows who acknowledged an alarm, including alarms answered by phone
- Sensor detail screen shows the status correctly when an alarm is acknowledged but not yet cleared, and you can acknowledge from that screen
- Manual relay control for R4 sensors
- Fixed alarm times showing in UTC instead of your local time
- Acknowledging on one device now stops the alarm on your other devices
- New look throughout, with the Daylight theme retired

### 1.2.2 — 2026-09-07

Fahren 1.2.2

- Alarms now break through Do Not Disturb and Focus
- Fixed: temperature/humidity/pressure alarms were silently suppressed (only contact alarms worked)
- New full-screen alarm with slide-to-acknowledge; acknowledging silences all your devices
- Alarm shows the sensor name and condition
- Shared sensors now alarm, show alarm colors, and have an ACK button
- Watch app now shows shared sensors (was blank)
- All times now show in your local timezone
- Temperature unit follows your account setting everywhere
- Fixed alarms repeating after being acknowledged

### 1.2.1 — 2026-08-19

Contact sensor alarm ACK now works for shared sensor users
Shared sensor tiles match the full dashboard layout with
  sparklines and probe temps
Probe temperature shown as primary reading on sensors with
  probes connected
Shared sensors refresh every 5 seconds for faster alarm
  detection
Shared contact sensors open the contact detail screen instead of
   temperature history
Apple Watch app added — view sensor status, temperatures, and
ACK contact alarms from your wrist
  Invite code registration bug fixed
  Bug fixes and performance improvements
