### 4/5 — Minimalistic fun for breaks

*2015-11-16, version 1.3.1*

I'm very busy at work, sometimes too busy to take a break, and ending up cutting my lunch short just to get everything done. This game provides a sleek and short experience while not demanding any of your time at all. Add Apple Watch support, and I'd be playing it on the go!

### 4/5 — Really fun!

*2014-11-30*

I found out about this through Merrit Kopas. It's a really fun game with interesting gambling mechanics. It's fun to try new strategies, and each new enemy requires a slightly different approach.

### 4/5 — Diamond in the rough

*2014-07-16*

In a sea of match-3 clones, Faif stands alone, mainly because it is completely original, sharing more in common with video poker, than anything else. It's clever risk/reward mechanic is the hook with reward bonus serving to make the game more tactical than a game of chance.

### 4/5 — Fun for those 5 min breaks

*2014-06-27, version 1.3*

4/5

### 5/5 — Great

*2014-03-10, version 1.1*

Awesome

### 4/5 — Frustrating

*2014-03-09*

This is a frustrating game that I regret buying. I watched the game-trailer and thought it looked fun, so I gave it a try. I understand the concept of the game, but the game seems unbalanced. You will encounter a lot of cheap deaths and it will frustrate you. If that sounds like fun to you, then you'll like this game and you should buy it. If you're looking for a challenge that's not frustrating and unfair, stay away from this game.

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2014-03-08, version 1.1*

This is a very fun puzzle rpg! Very addictive!

### 4/5 — Nice concept but buggy

*2014-03-07, version 1.1*

The game is pretty cool but most of the time the enemy won't lose a life point when I get a sword. Is that normal?

### 5/5 — Excellent Game

*2014-03-07*

An RPG like matching game that leaves much to chance. Having lots of fun playing.

### 5/5 — A good game

*2014-03-06*

There aren't many games like this. Like candy crush rpg adventure

### 1/5 — Another freebie faker

Apps that pretend to be free to get downloads

### 1/5 — Game Broken Without Subscription

*2019-10-27*

Hi, I want to rant about the misleading description and the dishonest business model of this game:
The game starts and the rules are explained. The game (without the game club subscription) is introduced, rules are explained, you play. Along the game you inevitably accumulate Diamonds which are there to be used in the “shop” in game where you can exchange diamonds (that you win in game, not from real $). The shop offers power ups of different kinds. But when you already have no option but to exchange the diamond you are not able to UNLESS you pay $4.99 per month for a game subscription.

It’s not wrong to offer people to subscribe. But it’s not fair to MISLEAD the player into thinking the game is complete. The core of the game is NOT available. So you spend time over and over trying to beat the boss but then you see that you can ,NEVER win unless you pay.

To be FAIR the player should be informed that this is a DEMO that is not completely playable, so that the player can decide whether to spend time playing the intro levels. It is just common courtesy.

It would have been more fair to do either ads every level, or earn players ahead of time, or to offer features with subscription that help a lot and make the game more fun. But in this case the game is broken/dysfunctional UNLESS you pay.

**Developer response:** We’re pleased to announce Faif has joined GameClub and has been updated to support all modern iOS devices. GameClub offers a curated catalog of iconic games, with new titles released every week. Subscribers get access to unlimited gameplay, no ads, and no additional purchases — just pure fun.

If you previously purchased this game, you will receive a free update and be able to continue playing the fully unlocked experience. If you have any issues, please contact help@gameclub.io.

### 1/5 — Computer cheats

*2014-09-09, version 1.3.1*

Computer cheats

### 1/5 — Unplayable in latest version

*2014-03-20*

Hangs after winning some number of matches. Time to put it in the "Wait for Update" folder.

### 1/5 — New version is shockingly buggy

*2014-03-19*

The latest update introduced a ton of bugs that make the game completely unplayable. Crashing after every third move does not make it "easier to advance". I hope someone accidentally submitted the wrong build to the App Store, because this is a disaster.

### 1/5 — A 'gambling' experience! Not worth it!

*2014-03-08*

I don't know how this game fits into the criteria of an RPG category. Unless buying 'powerups' from an ingame shop is the rpg qualifier? Pretty short concept there.

You 'fight', lets say this broadly, random npc names and 'bosses'. Where likely in the 'gambling' mechanism of the game. Your likely to continously be killed by the roll-dice that seemingly favors the npc then it does for you.

So there is a constant reminder of frustration of the cheesy deaths you will enjoy in this game.

Die. Roll. Die. Roll. Repeat.

Reminds me of this pirate puzzler game on the iOs (can't remember its name?), that as you advance, the npcs would always hit you harder and was never a remote chance of you advancing or dodging the npcs.

I truely regret buying this game on the sole part of it being categorized as an 'RPG'.

### 2/5 — Meh

*2014-04-13, version 1.2.1*

Not nearly as strategic or deep as I was expecting. Definitely not worth my $2.

### 2/5 — A hopeful two stars

*2014-03-07*

I would only give it one, since I cannot select anything in-game, but it looks fun and I hope it will be fixed (or more clearly explained). I get the option to play, and the screen with swords and skills appears, but no matter how I try, I cannot drag and connect five or more of anything! It makes a repeated low click when I try, but no results! Am I doing something wrong?

### 3/5 — Slick but basic

*2014-07-18*

I like the random names... a want to buy a matching domain and start a fashion line with 85% of them... but compared to many other games there is little to do besides play a few hundred random games and amass currency to start you off. I have my own game and tried to give my power-ups some fun. Maybe introducing tile variants (+2 swords, -1 skulls, etc.) could add some spice, but for now the mechanics make me nod off and I've deleted it.

### 3/5 — Correct

*2014-03-08, version 1.1*

J'aime bien le concept. Un mélange de stratégie et de chance (probabilités). Cela dit ça devient rapidement répétitif.

La mécanique reste toujours la même. Les adversaires ont seulement plus de points vie.

### 5/5 — Addictive and intriguing

*2016-03-09*

I recently came back to this game after a couple of years, and am once again sucked in. I could keep playing for an hour. Can't wait to finally solve this game's mysteries!

### 5/5 — Great!

*2015-06-23*

A lot of fun and very addicting. Just wish there were more variety in the shop. Maybe things like replace the borders, collect 5 random parts, etc. take a look at dungeon raid for inspiration. Otherwise, amazing.

### 5/5 — Stand-Out Match Game in a Candy Crush world

*2015-01-09*

This game is great. Love the multiplayer mode. Easily recommended for anyone who likes match games with a twist.

### 5/5 — Simple, Strategic, and Elegant

*2014-10-10*

There's no game currently in the app store quite like this (although 'Darkin' is similar). It is unique and elegant...very entertaining and fun. Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Interesting and different!!

*2014-07-27, version 1.3.1*

A nice variation on the "Match 3" ( pick 5! ) style of game - with a little luck thrown in!!

### 5/5 — Awesome!!

*2014-07-04*

I never write app reviews but this game is sick. Can't put it down!

### 5/5 — Cool

*2014-07-02*

One of the best match three games! And very polished and full of style.

### 5/5 — Near-Perfect

*2014-06-27, version 1.3*

A+

### 5/5 — Great!

*2014-03-10*

Really a great game, definitely worth checking it out! It is a luck-based game but with a good strategy you can defeat almost any opponent. Even the most strategic player can lose to bad luck though, so it can be aggravating but when you lose you level up based on the points you got, then you start with more gems and you'll go further next game!
